Fantastic Fred and our '14 Ford Focus! This was our second sale with Don Reid Ford and it was four years from when we made our first purchase of a 2005 Ford 500. In 2010 I was referred by a friend to a specific salesperson - Fred Berliner. He's been with Don Reid Ford almost as long as I've been married (29 yrs!). Very rare for a sales person to stay with one dealership so long but Fred is a rare and remarkable person! Just like four years ago Fred welcomed us and guided us to the best deal. He embodies a very successful balance of professional and friendly. He's incredibly knowledgeable and is excellent at conveying the many aspects of a car purchase or lease in understandable terms. Additionally, Fred was patient with us as we went through every step of the process. We decided to lease this time instead of buy because it was the best way for us to have a new car (2014). We had decided on the Focus (this was our first of this model) and we couldn't be happier with the vehicle and the program. I was especially impressed with how hard Fred worked to see we had a payment that fit our budget. Before we drove off the lot, he did me the favor of syncing my phone to the car and I benefited a bit from his tutorial on all the newer features of the '14 Focus. He has a marvelous way of communicating that gives you a sense of comfort so you feel okay asking him questions (even if they sound dumb to you- lol). There's a lot to be wary of in the purchase or lease of a car but Fred is fantastic and he instills such a feeling of trust that there's no doubt you'll be completely satisfied when you drive off the lot! You can trust him and call him later with more questions! He says he has many return customers; now being one of them it's not hard to see why he does. Thanks again Fred- you're the BEST! :-) I also wanted to mention- as our '05 Ford 500 was maintained at Don Reid Service these past four years- that this department is competent and staffed extremely well. Lyman Keele has been our service adviser (contact) during the last four years and is yet another rare individual who maintains a successful mix of a professional and friendly comportment. He really listens and this helps you feel comfortable. He takes his time with you and offers his thoughts for causes of the problems you state. After the repair or maintenance is complete he's equally willing to explain what was done and you feel confident that your vehicle has received the best care. Lyman, you rock! :-) More

I have purchased my last three (3) vehicles from Fred at Don Reid Ford. All you have to do is tell Fred what type of vehicle you're interested and he will find the perfect match for you at the perfect price. He is honest and you can tell after being with him for only five minutes that he's not trying to swindle you or pull the wool over your eyes - he will go the extra mile to ensure that you're satisfied. He makes the car-buying process enjoyable and stress-free. I cannot say enough good things about Fred and the rest of the staff at Don Reid. I will continue to return there to purchase vehicles in the future and I highly recommend visiting their showroom. More

I'm 29, work in sales, and very much about researching before going in. I knew what I wanted, and what would be good terms, but fair, in price, discounts, trade in, and financing. I was nervous because I had gone through the nightmare experience a few days before at Mike Davidson ford in jax. Fortunately, a very nice, soft spoken professional named Fred came to help me. I let him know the price amount I wanted to finance for the car I wanted, including all tax, title, etc., and the interest rate I wanted.... I knew what I was asking was most likely possible, but very good, so I sat back to wait for the negotiations to begin. But they didn't! Instead I watched Fred run around for half an hour talking to everybody. Finally he came back, giving me all I wanted (which was a lot) and that was it! No games, no gimmicks, just a simple yes we can do that. This is how a company can thrive on reputation, and I hope Fred and everyone at Don Reid continues their success just to prove to other dealers the value of customer service! P.S. The deal I asked for was what 5 hours of games at Mike Davidson got me. In the end of that day I was too exhausted and confused from 6 different sets of numbers presented thrown at me every time I tried to leave. Thanks Freddie for your simple up front honesty and customer service. I'll be back! More

I drove an hour and half to look at a Ford Flex that I was pretty much set to buy. Vehicle was originally registered in Michigan so had some reservations but seeing as it was "Ford Certified" thought I would give it a look. Car looked great until I looked underneath. Obviously under carriage is not part of the 172-point inspection because it was still caked in mud from Michigan. In some places 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Really? You're going to try and convince me that the car was thoroughly inspected when no one even washed it? I was on the lot less than ten minutes. i was hesitant after reading some of the reviews on here but most of them dealt with the service department and was not worried about that aspect. Should have been. More
I went into this dealership after looking at a mustang for about 3 days. It was originally listed on Auto Trader for about 18-19, but the price upped to 20, which I was okay with, thinking I could bring t for about 3 days. It was originally listed on Auto Trader for about 18-19, but the price upped to 20, which I was okay with, thinking I could bring the price down. When I got there the salesman was polite, but knew nothing about the mustang, turns out I knew more about it than he did. The manager even came over and told me that the car was worth about 36,000 when it was new. That was 3 years ago. The blue book on the mustang was around 16-17 thousand and the dealership wanted to tack on more money because it was a Dub Edition Mustang. It was just a V6 Premium with a hood scoop, Navigation system, and 20 inch rims. I test drove the car, liked it but the sales man made some horribly racist jokes about the neighborhood we drove through, along with sexist comments towards my driving (I'm a woman). I ignored them, but I probably should have left at that point. When we sat down and talked about the vehicle I told him about the price online. he got an attitude with me and told me I was looking at the wrong internet. He started to get rude, and basically told me that if I was looking for a Mustang for 18-19 thousand I should leave because this was not the place for me, and basically made me feel like I was too poor to afford the car (I was going to pay cash in hand if I could get it down to the price I wanted). I then told him that I saw it was sold at auction to the dealership (I poured over the car fax, and even learned that it had been wrecked, no air bag deployment and simply cosmetic), he lied to me, telling me that they NEVER buy their cars at auction. He then took all my paper work from me and put it away, keeping me from continuing to fill it out. At that point I felt my intelligence was insulted, so we left. I would not recommend this dealership, and the salesman even had the audacity to tell me that they turned over 189 cars a month. I have no clue why this person was even working for this dealership, but it's a good way to run off customers. More
