My Review Of Planet Mitsubishi:
I went there yesterday 10/8/2013 looking forward to buying a used Infinti G35x I saw advertised for $15,495! Was there for about 10 minutes and nobody came to talk to me so eventually I went to get help. Anyways, I got there already financed, all I had to do was sign my check over to the dealership, sign my name on the dotted line and walk away. So easy. However, when i went to inquire about the vehicle I was told I could not buy the car without an additional $3000 certification fee? WTF! So the price of the car which was advertised for $15,495 was already at nearly $19,900 with fees & taxes, etc. I have never in my life ever heard of a dealership obilgating you to buy a $3000 certification fee before purchasing a car, has anyone else? I went to a few dealers down the street and even they were puzzled. In general, I think they put a price on their site to get you in, then they tell you about the $3000 certification fee addition. This especially sucked since I drove all the way from CT expecting to leave with the car but instead left with nothing but pondering over an additional $3000 certification fee. If this were posted on the website, I never would have gone. So shame on me for not calling ahead, I guess the price of the car was so great I should have known better. So people, before you go there, call first and make sure the price you see online is the price you are getting. And just ask them if there are any fees in addition to the car and see what they say. So unfortunately I thought I'd be writing a great review about the dealership and how happy I am with my car but instead I feel I got hoodwinked.
