We understand your frustration, but as we explained to you, it is out of our hands. Unfortunately, the pool acid that had spilled throughout your vehicle caused the majority of the damage. We contacted Nissan and asked them to have a look at the car. They concluded that the warranty is voided due to "outside influences" which was the pool acid damage. We do not have control over their decision. Additionally, it became a safety risk for our technicians to work on the vehicle as they were burning themselves because of the acid. We empathize with the rough spot this puts you in, but unfortunately, we cannot complete warranty work when Nissan Motor America has voided your warranty. Should you want to discuss this further or see if we can remedy it in some other way, please contact Brittany Madsen our customer relations manager at 678.827.2959.

Thank you so much for responding Brittany. But please next time do a little research on Muriatic acid and its effects and dangers before adding that in your response. Im pretty sure you got that straight from Tim. Pool acid was not spilled throughout the vehicle, a very small amount was spilled in the back of truck months before I brought the van in to you guys to look at. The fumes from muriatic acid will render a person unconscious or possibly kill them in an enclosed area. So Somehow I was able to drive a vehicle daily for months and avoid any damage or burns but your technicians were being burned from a liquid that was spilled in the back of my van months ago. The only way muriatic acid will burn someone is if they come in direct contact with it and that wasn`t the case because if it was why did your techs not complain of this the other 3 times they worked on my vehicle trying to diagnose the problem? Was it a safety hazard then? Bottom line Im the only one that was put at risk by driving an unsafe vehicle. All I asked was the vehicle be returned to me in the condition that it was in before I brought it in to planet Nissan. I contacted Nissan consumer affairs and was advised to get a second opinion. They sent me to Auto Nation Nissan located at 5800 W. Sahara. Within hours they told me what the problem was ordered the parts and my vehicle is now back in my possession all repaired. No technicians were burned, no hassle and no money out of my pocket, warranty covered. Tim Curlee and planet Nissan are horrible he did everything in his power to inconvenience me and had no regard for customer safety.I will drive the extra miles to Auto nation from here on out and highly recommend anyone reading this to do the same. No more frustration thanks to Blake and the team at AUTO NATION NISSAN. 5800 W. SAHARA 702-570-1013. P.S. Brittany as a customer relation manager I find it highly disturbing that you or a colleague would post this without first contacting myself to hear my side of the story, but instead you conjure up a story about people getting burned when you know that's not the truth, very irresponsible as a manager.
