Sold new used car Purchased new 2016 Sonata, received 8.5 month old Sonata with exhaust system damage, possible steering damage and out of alignment, filthy dirty and n Purchased new 2016 Sonata, received 8.5 month old Sonata with exhaust system damage, possible steering damage and out of alignment, filthy dirty and no pre-delivery check conducted. I had to take off from work three separate days to resolve these issues, wont know about the steering issue until I drive it again for some distance. I commend Brad in Service for his concern for the customer and his efforts in correcting my vehicle steering issue. he went above and beyond to satisfy me and Milton for his patience with my frustration on my third visit to Service. Jared in Service needs attention to detail and customer service training and the Sales Manager is a puppet who recites standard company policy lingo. Adam and Nicholas sold me the vehicle, and both were helpful and listened to my issues, but Nicholas sold me the unclean and damaged car and Adam continued to steer me away from speaking with the Pohanka Hyundai owner, Mr. Pohanka. Every attempt on my part to see the owner met with "he is not in today". Overall, very negative experience with some good mixed in. More

I was sent online quote for the vehicle which was not honored when I got to the dealership. I had a better deal with another dealership out of town but they promised to match the price if I come to them. None of this happened and instead I ended up paying way more for the car than I need to. In order to sell me the gap insurance, the finance director, Matt Himes lied to me that I couldn't get the gap through my insurance company as that would be a conflict of interest. I found out from my insurance agent that this was not true. More

And often there are disaffected and disinterested workers manning customer service positions. To be honest, I dread the car-buying experience. I went into one dealership a couple of years ago, just to browse for a possible commuter car for my husband. There were so many people that were trying to do the hard sell with us - to the point of even grabbing the dealership manager to make their pitch - that I fled as quickly as I could. It was refreshing to have one person guiding me through the process and answering my questions. It was also nice to not have to deal with someone pushing a product on me that I may or may not want. I originally showed up to test drive the Hyundai Veloster. I was going to go to a couple other dealerships to test drive the Mazda 3 and the Toyota Prius afterward. I realized I was too claustrophobic to even take the Veloster for a test drive, but, Adam showed me other options that had all the techno-baubles that I really wanted. So, it turned out, that I didn't even need to test drive something else, because I met the Hyundai Elantra Limited and fell in love. it was Adam that helped me to realize a long-term relationship possible with my Elantra. So, I guess this is sort-of a love story and not so much about customer service, isn't it? Anyway, thanks bunches Adam. Shawn More
