Potamkin Hyundai responded

Every dealer gets customers with a low idea about a dealership when they come in. I guess sometimes it is natural and sometimes we earn that. However this woman bought a car for her son and she did her best to find the best dealer with the best value. She bought a 19,000 miles car and she thought that we misled her after she drove the car and was doing the paperwork. The car was online for just a few days when it went live and the miles that were posted came from a previous service. There is very little difference between 17,000 and 19000 miles and we discounted the car in order to make this customer happy. To make matters worse, there was a campaign that came out on this car in the 5 days between the certification and the customer purchase. Somehow when this car went through certification it had 33 pounds of pressure in the tires. After the customer left and went home the tire pressure monitor light went on and when the car came back it had 40 PSI which triggered the TPMS light to go on. After we fixed the tire pressure and made sure the campaign was complete the customer came back and discovered a big scratch across the hood. We had the scratch repaired but that fix was still not to our satisfaction at the dealership. We sent it back and had the imperfection taken care of. It took some time but with the help of our Service Director and our service writer Monica, we have a customer that was pleased with the outcome. It may not have been an instant fix but it was fixed and it was done right. We are far from perfect and things may not always be as fast as we would like. I would like to view this as a test for our dealership and I hope that this customer has more faith in us going forward.
