In June of 2014 I purchased a brand new Ram 1500. A few weeks later I received a recall in the mail regarding the rear shock absorbers. The recall explained that they may fail without warning causing a crash. I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for service. My truck sat there all day and when I went to pick it up they informed me that it was one of the vehicles effected by the recall, however they did not have the parts yet.
Three weeks later they called and said the parts where in. I arranged to drop the vehicle off, which is a hassle to me as I had to leave my work car home. In the late afternoon they called and said it was ready. I proceeded to pick up my truck only to be told the both sides needed replacement and they only had parts for one so they did not due any of the work.
A few weeks again passed and then I was contacted to bring in the vehicle for the repair. I explained to them the inconvenience as far as not having a vehicle for the day and they said since I don't have a contract for a loan vehicle there was nothing they could do. I scheduled the repair for a Saturday to avoid any dilemma. The man on the phone ensured me that he would get my truck done first and it would only take two hours. Five hours later I am still sitting here with no end in sight and they can't provide me with a loaner vehicle.
The customer service and efficiency of the service department is horrible and I will never return here. After reading all the stories on here, there is absolutely nothing they can do to convince me otherwise
