My Review Of Reno Dodge:
I did a review yesterday that I need to amend. Perhaps, I should have waited until I received my vehicle. I didn't get the truck the day of purchase because it had just been turned in to the dealer and wasn't even inspected yet. I had to wait for the certification and detail to get the car which would take a couple days. John St. Clair went over and above excellent customer service. Since I couldn't get the car right away, I decided to make the car a surprise for my husband, Bill. He was away at a wedding with his family and wasn't with me during the process. I told Bill I decided not to purchase yet and would wait for him so we could do it together. Our original plan was to buy in July/Aug, but I couldn't pass up this truck. I could hear it in his voice, the disappointment, but I kept with my lie because the end result would be so great.
John helped me plot and plan how to present the truck to him. I had a plan, wasn't working out. Had another plan, wasn't working out again. Each plan I had, John said he would do whatever I asked of him. "I have your back", he kept telling me. John even offered to drive the vehicle to my house, knock on my door and hand my husband the keys and say here is your new truck. That was the plan until I realized, we had family in town and were suppose to be across town at the time of delivery. I once again called John in a panic and said, "It's not working out, we can't do it now because we won't be home". Without hesitation, John said, "give me the address where you will be and I will take it there". It was across town and much further away then my house. Wow!
We went to the dinner party with the family members that were also at the wedding. When my husband was out of the room, I told everyone what was going to happen. With a house full of family members that were eye witnesses to my husbands disappointment over the weekend when he realized he didn't get a truck, they were all there to see his extremely shocked reaction when John showed up at the door and handed him the keys. We all knew John was coming except for Bill. John even brought the paperwork with him so Bill could sign there and save a trip to the dealer later.
If Reno Dodge has an award for excellent customer service, my vote is for John St. Clair.
