FRAUD AND DECEPTION We bought a vehicle & so did daughter no problem. My son bought a suv apparently 2weeks before they went out of business. We were so happy for our son cause he was financed through a "bank" What a joke. I should have known it was too good to be true. Never could get the registration or a straight answer of what's going one. My sons suv was repossed today. WHY??? He made his down payment. Made his 2 monthly payments on time. BECAUSE RHODES NEVER PAID THE COMPANY CALLED "THE AUTO EDGE" FOR THE SUV! So, The Auto Edge, they took the suv to recoup their losses. What about my son?? Now we have to fight to get our money or the suv. Called the Auto Edge people they couldn't give me an answer cause there office was closed until Monday. So he is screwed! More

Then days later according to a Veronica who called me to say that the car was gonna be fixed and it will be ready in a week. The week went by and no one called me until I called them to check on the car no one could help me so they took a message, shortly after I get a call from another woman asking me how my car was running? really ? I don't have a car what the xxxx was she talking about? she disconnected the phone. Several days later I get a call from Sam/Claims Manager who said the car was indeed totaled and not to worry about anything, they will email the next day everything so that I can either get another car with them or go to another dealership. That it will take 3 weeks for the car info to show as paid off in my credit report. I believed him and went on to enjoy my weekend, on Tuesday I get a call from a guy who says Rhodes has sold my account to them because they have closed for good (bankrupt) and we need to set up payments. I was shocked and couldn't believe this. I told this guy about what happened to my car and that I don't have it. He was shocked too because he didn't have any notes about the loss of my car. This means Rhodes has cashed the insurance money and stole my car. I'm trying to contact anyone else that their car was flooded and that have been contacted by this new company to pay for a car that Rhodes took. The sales department is the only department that knows how to talk to customers. Maybe because their goal is to actually sale cars. Once you purchase a car then you have to deal with the rude reps and managers in the billing department who have a huge attitude when it is time to actually do their job! No wonder why two of the locations closed down and staff changing left and right! Going at this rate they will be out of business in no time! Even though purchasing a vehicle was hassle free... What's the point of purchasing a hassle free vehicle if the entire contract I have to deal with horrible customer service??? More

DON'T DO IT!!! If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. They aren't even worthy of 1/2 a star. I went to this dealership as a referral and I wish I wouldn't have. Granted I went to the 45 north location but all of these reviews match the same. They build their whole company on lies. They'll tell you about the warranties and how everything will be fixed in time and that's completely false. I went in to submit a payment and there were already four customers in, 8 am, complaining and having issues with them. The staff is incredibly rude and act as if you owe them something. They tacked on their insurance to my car note even after I provided my own insurance. Thank goodness I had proof by email because there was an argument stating that I told them I wanted it. Plus, they put in the wrong information and blamed me for it when it was their mistake. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!! RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN. Rhodes has proven to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I literally regret this purchase and doing business with them everyday. More

Unethical I've been financing my vehicle since 2012. If there is an issue the staff is very rude and does not fix the issue. They can have a very ugly attitude. The only time they don't is when is when you're making a payment. I hate that I an doing business with them. There's plenty of dealer ships that give second chances and work with bad credit. After I purchase my vehicle I met about 10 customers. NO ONE has a positive experience. I'm always being transfer, he said she said, rude people. It does not matter if you pay on time (they automatically withdraw the funds out of my account) they will not own up to their errors, they will not apologize, they don't fix issues. You'd think there's an higher authority you can complain to NOPE! Don't say I didn't warn you. ... More
