I had a very frustrating experience with the service department at RideNow Goodyear. I installed a used Ride Command display in my Polaris RZR. After working with a Polaris tech, we successfully sync department at RideNow Goodyear. I installed a used Ride Command display in my Polaris RZR. After working with a Polaris tech, we successfully synced it to the ECM so it showed the correct VIN and hours. However, the mileage still showed 2,883 miles from the previous vehicle. The Polaris technician told me the mileage is stored in the Ride Command display and that any Polaris dealer can manually enter the correct mileage. I called RideNow and was told it would be no problem and cost $82, so I scheduled an appointment and dropped the RZR off Monday so it would be ready Tuesday. Tuesday morning they still hadn’t worked on it. Later that afternoon I was told the mileage wouldn’t “sync,” even though I had already explained multiple times that it cannot sync and must be entered manually. The next morning I stopped in because we were leaving to go camping and riding. They still had no answer from Polaris. After more discussion they asked me to bring the original gauge cluster so they could verify mileage, so I drove 20 miles home and back to get it. When I returned with it, they then told me they didn’t know how to manually enter the mileage at all and were still waiting on Polaris. At that point I asked if they could even perform the service, and the response was basically that they had been trying to tell me they couldn’t. Then they tried to charge me the $82 anyway despite doing nothing. After arguing for about 15 minutes they finally waived the charge as a “one-time accommodation.” One time is all I need, there will never be a second. This wasted two days of my time and almost ruined a planned riding trip. If the shop didn’t know how to perform the service, they should have said so from the beginning instead of scheduling the work and sending me on multiple trips. I’ve heard bad stories about RideNow service before and unfortunately this experience confirmed them. I won’t be returning for service or purchases. More
