My Review of Rosen Nissan Gurnee:
Bought a new Nissan Quest. When for my first oil change. Spoke to the General Manager to see if they would throw in a car cleaning from inside. Very intimidating man. Typical used car dealer mentality who loves to put women customers down. If you are a women I would not go to this particular dealer. He does not listen, but speaks first. Showing off his macho-ness.
The service did not even do a recall on the vehicle. Came home to find there was a letter for recall on fuel cap. Most dealership in the past, when you go for service look up to see if there is any recalls, not this dealership. Service sucks...

My Review of Rosen Nissan Gurnee:
I purchased a 2012 Nissan Rogue from Rosen Nissan on nov 25, 2011. I requested Internet quotes from ALL dealers within 75 miles. Sean was one of the only people to respond with an all inclusive out the door price. Since it was a long drive for me, I stopped by at another dealer on the way. I walked out disgusted at the "fees" being charged and headed straight to Rosen Nissan to meet Sean.

Best decision ever. You know, I can't say if their's is THE absolute best price out there or if it always will be. What I am very sure of is that their price will be very very competitive. Where they are untouchable is in the way the entire staff treats you. There was not an extra cent tagged on (I went in with my laptop to make sure the numbers matched - didn't even need to). I got a very fair value for my trade in (same price as 3 other quotes I received). I did not have to "negotiate" a single fee because they were only the standard fees (tax, title, destination). This was the most non-pushy non-nagging salesmen ever. One of the coolest things about them is that they do nothing extra to the vehicle (under coating protector/etching/paint protection/interior protection etc). That is the primary reason they do not have "dealer installed options". You can then choose what and if you would like any of those options or not. Again, all options are presented with no high pressure sales tactics.

Read all the reviews - save yourself the time and hassle. Have a FUN car buying experience. I highly recommend Rosen Nissan. It's sad that I had to drive past 4 dealerships to get this kind of service.

My Review of Rosen Nissan Gurnee:
I bought my car over two years ago at this dealership, which was an amazing experience. Lay Lumpkins really took care of me.

I recently had a slow leak in a tire, the auto shop could not get my tires off without a lock. I looked everywhere in my car!!! Could not find this locking mechanism they spoke of. The next morning I brought my car to the dealership. To order a lock would take time, but Mike from parts suggested that they take off the locks and just put lug nuts on in replacement, assuring me I would never have to go through this again. They did not have any of the parts to sell to me, which I started to panic, seeing that I was in a mega-hurry to get to work! However, the guys in the garage had a set of four, and they gave them to me at no charge!!!! I was shocked! Completely! ....And when they pulled my car around (only minutes later- mind you) -- MY CAR HAD A CAR WASH!!!! WOW!

I will never buy a car anywhere else!

I got an internet quote from Sean. When called to ask about additional fees he laid them all for me nice and clear. When checking out the car he was up front about the pricing and gave me a fare trade in price. Smooth quick interactions. No bogus fees or mandatory add ons. In comparison, I went to ANOTHER dealership and quoted them Rosen's prices and they told me that it was a trick for me to come in, but in reality they stood by the quotes sent to me.

Sean was very accommodating, flexible, thorough and great to deal with.. would definitely see him for my next trade-in, and would gladly recommend him to anyone!! He listened well, he didn't waste my time, and has a great sense of humor. I started searching for the vehicle I wanted VIA the internet. Through emails, I quickly gave up the other 5 dealers and decided that I wanted to deal with Sean Liddy.

Out of all the people I dealt with in buying my new car at the Rosen Nissan dealership (4 people total), I was most pleased with the salesman (Sean Liddy). He was very upfront and straight forward with me and he did not create the "high pressure" environment that is commonly found at a lot of dealers, which I greatly appreciated.

This is my 2nd new car purchase from David Krockmal within 1 month. David is a pleasure to work with. He gave me very competitive pricing and treated me like a friend and not a customer. I see why he has been able to stay in the industry as long as he has. I am confident when I need my next new car he will still be at Rosen with a smile on his face and will remember me by name when I walk thru the door. If all car sales people had the attitude and style that Dave has the industry would no longer have that Car salesman stigma. Do yourself a favor and seek David out when you need your next Honda or Nissan.

As a side note the dealership staff from the finance guy to the service guys are all very nice as well.

My Son and I bought a new Altima 2.5 S today at Rosan , and In both of our lifetimes we have never had such a pleasant time buying a car. Everyone was so respectful and kind and courteous. Everything was out in the open and no hidden clauses. We so appreciated the straight forward honest attitudes of Brad and the finance guy and the guy who told us how to use the keyless start and everything else, Brad did go over all of it again when we went out to take the new car home. So yes I would give this experence top rating in every respect.That is why I given the rating I have which is excellent.
