My husband and I had an amazing experience at Russell & Smith dealership. We originally went in just to get my husband’s window fixed on his 2021 Explorer and had no intentions of purchasing a vehicle that Smith dealership. Luckily, we got connected with Jacob Lapolla—and when I say he gave us a great experience, I mean it! He was so helpful, transparent, and honest throughout the process. To our surprise, we ended up purchasing a 2025 Ford F-150 and couldn’t be happier. Jacob went above and beyond by making sure the truck was filled with gas and freshly washed before we left. Our finance manager, Mia, was also wonderful. She was straightforward, kind, and worked hard to ensure we received the best deal possible. We are extremely happy with our experience and would definitely recommend both Jacob and Mia to our friends and family! More
BEWARE of Up Sales I wrote a review about their up sales that they obviously did not' like, it was removed. My 2022 F350 was towed in when it would not start. I know vehicles and they said it was a service they do for those customer that don't have the knowledge I have. I asked they show me in the Ford manual where it says the vehicle needed a list of items checked like A/C service, throttle body cleaning, wiper blades, two batteries, etc. The blades are good and about a year old. Those unsuspecting will pay for unneeded work and parts. Their rely made my point for me hers a copy copy of the dealer reply "Thank you for your honest feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. While we’re glad we were able to resolve the no-start issue, we’re genuinely disappointed to hear that our service recommendations came across as excessive or unnecessary. Please know that the items we suggest — such as wiper blades, cabin filters, A/C service, and fuel system cleaning — are part of preventative maintenance designed to help keep your vehicle running like new and avoid costly repairs down the road. These recommendations are not made because something is “broken,” but rather to help extend the life and performance of your vehicle. We absolutely understand that, as a former Ford technician, you have the skills and knowledge to perform many of these services yourself — and we respect that! Most of our customers rely on us to guide them through proper maintenance, and our goal is always to inform, not pressure. We truly appreciate your insight and will continue working to improve how we communicate service recommendations, especially for customers with your level of expertise. Katie my Sales Rep went above and beyond to make things right! She was phenomenal! Also nothing that the Service Team probably performed a miracle to take off a horrible wrap job and did their best to buff right! She was phenomenal! Missing a star because the vehicle purchased broke down on our way home because the radiator hose busted. I think this should have been something the intake team could have done a better job of checking considering we purchased a used Ford from a Ford dealership. Wasn’t fun having to go through all this with a 3 year old in the back…However, Katie drove where we were to offer cold AC while we waited HOURS for a tow truck to come get us (we broke down on the tollway). Katie was there with us each step of the way to provide nothing but positivity in a messy situation. She even personally delivered the vehicle to my house. The only way I’d be back is to purchase a vehicle with Katie. She’s the best! More
I haven't bought a vehicle since 2013 and Russell and Smith Ford made it as painless as possible. Going from no car payment for years to buying something new (used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe) was a stressful Smith Ford made it as painless as possible. Going from no car payment for years to buying something new (used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe) was a stressful idea for me and they made the process as easy and as transparent as a car dealership can in my limited experience. I found the car on True Car. There was a "dealership rebate" of 1000 dollars which they didn't honor but Im not sure how those logistics work. That being said, I totally recommend them from the standpoint of ease and some of the least pushy people I had dealt with in my search for a car. I would definitely buy from them again. More
