Issue Handled Well I bought a low mileage (~14K) Outback from Chris Matte who handled the whole process well. The only disappointment was that this Certified Used Car - I bought a low mileage (~14K) Outback from Chris Matte who handled the whole process well. The only disappointment was that this Certified Used Car - when it was up to only 20K mi - had completely worn through the brake pads on the rear left tire. (The car may have done a lot of towing in its early life.) I think that this should have been caught in the Certification process.. HOWEVER, when I called Pat, in the Service Dept., he quickly pointed out that even though my extended warranty wouldn't have covered parts such as brakes, the New Car warranty did. Bottom line is that new brakes are being installed and I continue to recommend St. J to anyone looking for a Subaru. More
