Jim was great to work with and the overall experience was by far the best sales experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Jim was able to give me great information via email & phone which was crit by far the best sales experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Jim was able to give me great information via email & phone which was critical to me to avoid spending long hours sitting in car lots. The price on my new F-150 was better than any other dealer in the valley. Overall great experience. More
I went to the dealership with an 8-year old Dodge Durango hopeful to trade it in and getting a used car. But thanks to Bill Stupar and Tim Hovik, they were able to put together a great deal for a NEW Ford Es hopeful to trade it in and getting a used car. But thanks to Bill Stupar and Tim Hovik, they were able to put together a great deal for a NEW Ford Escape. From the time I walked into the dealership to the time I left three hours later, I felt like I was buying a car from my buddy that lives next door. They were experienced and very friendly. I knew every aspect and option of my purchase, and they made me feel very comfortable. I felt like I was a rock star coming to buy three cars for my posse. Their follow up after my purchase was excellent also.Everyone should Buy American, and Buy at San Tan Ford! More
San Tan's attention to detail is very poor--lots of document mistakes, missing floor mats, and gross inattention to concerns. Once learned--one burned! I would never deal with San Tan Ford in the futu document mistakes, missing floor mats, and gross inattention to concerns. Once learned--one burned! I would never deal with San Tan Ford in the future and urge extreme caution by other potential customers. There are lots of other options in the Phoenix area that could do better. More
Well, the older reviews do not appear to agree with recent experiences. My wife and I were both treated well and listened to. In fact the sales person knew the way to a more ooptioned vehicle was to recent experiences. My wife and I were both treated well and listened to. Well I have to say that I am difficult person to please, but who shouldnt be when youre paying a chunk of money on a truck. Everyone was so accomodating, I was so impressed by how I was treated and willing but who shouldnt be when youre paying a chunk of money on a truck. Everyone was so accomodating, I was so impressed by how I was treated and willing they were willing to work with me. They were reasonable and willing to put up with all the reasonable obstacles that I presented. Thank you for helping me and listening to me. More
I went to to dealership to inquire about a used Ford I went to to dealership to inquire about a used Ford Escape. I met sales associate: James Schuffert. What I found was the most pleasant and frien I went to to dealership to inquire about a used Ford Escape. I met sales associate: James Schuffert. What I found was the most pleasant and friendly car buying experience that I ever had in my 38 years of driving and buying cars. I NEVER felt pressured, was extended the UTMOST in courtesy and respect. As I sat at the sales table, EVERY employee that passed by me said,"Good morning" and asked me if I needed anything. I did NOT get the usual "Dealership Dance" where you start with the salesman who hands you off to another guy, then another guy etc. and by the time your are done, you are so frustrated, tired ans wish you never set foot in the door. When you do finally get to leave as they are locking up for the night, you feel like you just got "Chumped". I NEVER felt that at San Tan Ford. I would highly recommend you giving San Tan your business. I will recommend them to all my friends. I just wish that they were closer to my house (35 miles away). I would use them for all my service needs. Their motto is "It's all about you". They truly lived up to their motto in dealing with me. Dale More
As a woman, I would never buy a truck or car from your dealership. On several occasions I have come out to test drive the Ford F-350 Dually Diesel. One time in particular I was with my Man Friend. I re dealership. On several occasions I have come out to test drive the Ford F-350 Dually Diesel. One time in particular I was with my Man Friend. I requested the sales person and the test drive. Three salesman completely ignored me and only introduced themselves to my man friend. The truck was for me not him. I was the one paying, not him. I was the one already driving a Ford, not him. I was the one that had the horse trailer with living quarters to pull with it, not him. When I attempted to ask questions, the salesman always addressed my man friend. Go take a class on how to treat the women that want to buy vehicles. The surveys will tell you that it is us, the women that make the decision on buying the vehicle. I have bought all my vehicles by myself which included a 2000 Ford F350 Dually Lariat and a 2007 Dodge 3500 Dually. If you want to sell some vehicles, you need to learn more about your customer. Also note, your salesman do not even understand the product they are selling. Grant it, the engine is new this year on the diesels, but they could not even answer basic questions. Also, why is it that your dealership never has any brochures. My final note, which is actually a compliment, is for your service department. They are great, so far for the work completed on my 2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. If you haven't figured it out yet, I buy all the bells and whistles on my vehicles if the salesman respect me and can treat me like a good customer, as I am. More
I recently purchased a 2008 F150 from San Tan Ford in Gilbert, Arizona on February 21st, 2010. The vehicle I purchased had several cosmetic as well as engine modifications. These modifications include a Gilbert, Arizona on February 21st, 2010. The vehicle I purchased had several cosmetic as well as engine modifications. These modifications include a 2 inch lowering kit, custom dual exhaust, Rousch Supercharger, Nitto low profile tires and Lorenzo 22in rims. After purchasing the vehicle and doing extensive research based on the recomendation of a famiy friend who is a GM at a dealership nearby we found that these modifications void any and all Ford Warranties as well as any extended warranties that San Tan Ford offered. I was not made known by San Tan Ford that these modifications would void any warranties and was actually told that these warranties were in place and could be offered thus sold and added to the contract of this vehicle. After learning this information only three weeks after making this purchase I have visited 5 different Ford dealerships in the valley to gain confirmation on my findings as well as find out what the true value of the vehicle is. These dealerships include Sanderson Ford, Bell Ford, Power Ford of North Scottsdale, Earnhardt Ford and Berge Ford. All of these dealerships expressed to me that because of the modifications that had been made to the truck, the implied warranties could not be offered and that the modifications actually devalue the truck. I expressed my concern as to why a truck with several modifications that I was originaly told enhanced the value of the truck would actually devalue the truck and was told that they would have never sold the truck on their lot in the first place because they would be liable for any repair work that would be needed should the modified pieces break or cause another piece or part to break. In addition, after speaking with many service managers and a few managers of the dealerships that were visited I was told that if that truck had been taken in as a trade on their lots it would have been sold to an auction and never resold on their lots based on the liabilites, the devalued price tag and the lack of warranties. It has also been learned that if I had sold this truck to another buyer under the false pretenses that we were given, ie- Ford warranty that is 36,000 miles or 3 years bumper to bumber as well as having the extended warranty that was added valued at $2400, the new buyer could come back and sue me and hold me liable should they find out the truth about all warranties being voided. I feel that I was extremely mislead about the value of this truck and its inherent warranties. I feel that because I was misled into this vehicle it should be taken back and the original vehicle that was traded in as well as the money put as a downpayment be returned. This is an unfortunate situation and the actions the dealership took in selling this vehicle to an unsuspecting citizen not only shows the extent that they will go to take advantage of their customers but the deceit in which they will go about it especially in the type of economy we live in. We pulled up to the service drive and there was one other vehicle there (should have been the first red flag). We moved recently and our usual dealership that we love (Earnhardt's) was a little out of the w vehicle there (should have been the first red flag). We moved recently and our usual dealership that we love (Earnhardt's) was a little out of the way. But at Earnhardt's they have someone greet you at your car so we assumed that's just how it worked. A couple of people walked by us and we waited for awhile until someone finally came out. He seemed irritated and not happy to see us. We told him the problem we were having. He didn't ask us to show him on the car what we meant, or ask for clarification. He just asked for my name and address and said he'd give me a call. I asked 'dont you need my phone number?' and he said, 'yeah go ahead' so I gave it to him. Then there was an awkward silence. I was waiting for him to check the mileage, walk around the car with me, thank me for coming in, SMILE even? but no, he was waiting for us to leave. So we did. I had a feeling he wouldn't call me when it was done and immediately got a bad feeling about leaving my car there. I called about 5 hours later to ask if my car was done and it was! They didn't call me to let me know this, I had to guess. They ordered the part they needed and said they'd call me when it came in. I called back a couple of days later to check and guess what? It was in! Once again, no phone call from them. Dropped the car off again to get it fixed and they said they'd call me when it was done. I called the next day and STRIKE THREE it was done and I hadn't received a single call once ever from this dealership. I went to pick up my car kind of already knowing that something was going to be wrong. And what a shocker, they ordered and replaced the wrong part in my vehicle. Had the advisor listened or paid any attention to us at all when we originally came in he would know this. Had the technician even looked at what he was replacing, HE would know that he was replacing a part that worked perfectly fine. Can they even do that under warranty? Is Ford paying for their ignorance? Needless to say, we didn't have them order the correct part, we took the car to another dealership. I will never, ever come back to this dealership and, neither will my mom's fusion, my dad's f250, my boyfriends f150 or my grandmother's explorer. More
