Sandy Sansing BMW in Pensacola has been, without exaggeration, the worst service experience I’ve had with any dealership, ever! I bought my BMW a little over a year ago and it has been a constant ba exaggeration, the worst service experience I’ve had with any dealership, ever! I bought my BMW a little over a year ago and it has been a constant battle with the service department. Yesterday I took off work to bring my 2021 BMW X3 in for a mandatory recall (starter). I was told—point blank—that they would not perform the recall unless I paid for a service first. The “service” they pushed was a brake fluid top-off for $149. I declined because it was unnecessary and I was there for a recall. What happened next is the part that destroyed my trust completely: I was told there was “no solution” for my recall unless I paid for service… but in the same breath I was told that if I did pay for service, the starter was in stock and they could do the recall. So the remedy exists—only if I spend money first? That is unacceptable. When I demanded my keys back, the advisor said she needed to speak to the service manager. Suddenly, after that conversation, they “found a way” to complete the recall without me paying for the extra service. So yes—there was a solution the entire time. Then they sent me an invoice totaling $3,139.85 for a laundry list of recommendations “under the sun.” And to make it even more absurd, the invoice didn’t even include the very brake fluid top-off they claimed was required for the recall in the first place. This doesn’t feel like customer service—it feels like a pressure-driven sales operation wearing a service department name tag. If you value your time, your money, and honest communication, I would avoid Sandy Sansing BMW service in Pensacola. I cannot wait to be done with this vehicle solely so I never have to deal with this department again. More
