I'm very disappointed in the warranty parts service. Not sure what has changed from the past BUT I have a warranty claim open since February waiting on parts. There has been zero follow up with me even thou sure what has changed from the past BUT I have a warranty claim open since February waiting on parts. There has been zero follow up with me even though I've called back 4 times asking for an update on when the parts would be in. Last time I asked for the manager if service to call me back and was assured that he would later that day as well as the service msg handling my claim. It's been 3 more days and no one has called. Luckily, it's not a critical part BUT the lack and communication and absolutely zero follow up is not the level of service one should expect from a major dealership like Sarasota Ford. More

I was on Vacation and on the way to the beach then noticed my tire was losing air. We stopped by and Nick Munn assisted us by giving us a complimentary Lyft to the beach and Back while my tire got fi noticed my tire was losing air. I took my 2019 Ford Escape to the Quicklane to have my battery checked. Julio and Nick took care of replacing the battery in short order! Worst used car experience I ever had in my life . I have bought several new cars and used cars for the last 15 years and this dealership ripped me off and sold me a piece of xxxx explorer. The whole buying bought several new cars and used cars for the last 15 years and this dealership ripped me off and sold me a piece of xxxx explorer. The whole buying process went smoothly, I bought a GMC Terrain after 2 yrs I needed something bigger so I went in to trade it in. Todd salesman showed me this 2015 Ford Explorer which we drove and seem pretty decent and had low miles. As soon as 2 weeks passed the problems started. Weather strips were starting to lift, called the useless service department took it in and they took over 4 months to get them “FIXED”. After that it’s been problems after problems, going in and wasting my time for the service people to not find or “DUPLICATE” the issue. After telling them that something was wrong with ac and again couldn’t duplicate the problem, ac went out that’s where they supposedly “FIXED” it. After that ac went out AGAIN they had it for over a month AGAIN, so I been paying for driving a loaner more than half the time I’ve owned my vehicle. So if you are looking to buy a car DO NOT BUY HERE!!! because the second this place gets your money and the papers signed they will ignore you, not follow through, and they will look at you like if you were crazy making up all this problems with your vehicle. The salesmen pressure you to write them a 5 star review before you’ve even driven off the lot. I talked to the service manager, been dealing with MICHAEL AUGUST, and ROBYN KNOLL. ROBYN KNOLL another one that will say she will help get your vehicle fixed just to get you to do a positive review, after you do it she will ignore your emails and say SHE NEVER GOT AN EMAIL. This last time they kept my vehicle over a month made me buy a new battery because they said they would not diagnose the vehicle with a bad battery, took them a new battery picked up my vehicle 1 week after and they said it was fixed. WELL THEY MADE ME SPEND $180 ON A NEW BATTERY FOR THEM NOT TO FIX MY VEHICLE. I went in today 1/5/2021 to try to speak to a manager because since DEC 26th, 2020 the service manager has had no time to call me back and he was still “BUSY” today. MICHAEL and ROBYN advice me that my best was to get a second opinion at a different Ford dealership, because they couldn’t seem to fix “MY PROBLEM”. When their foreman people have test drove my vehicle and saw the problems. THIS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP..FULL OF LIERS!! I will be filling a complaint!! More
