Totally dissatisfied customer Bought a new 2013 Ford escape within a year was in for service for a coolant leak. Was told there was no problem coolant was evaporating. They filled Bought a new 2013 Ford escape within a year was in for service for a coolant leak. Was told there was no problem coolant was evaporating. They filled up the coolant and told me it was okay. 9 months later and for the same thing I was told the same thing. Once again filled it up set me home. I was in two other times for the same thing within the next two years. Went in 2019 again for the same thing. This time they told me there had been a problem with the engine for my 2013 Ford escape now because the problem was never fixed or never diagnosed properly I need a new engine. Of course now the vehicle is not under warranty they want $8,000 to put a new engine in. Ford corporate was willing to pay half Sarasota Ford was willing to do nothing except sell me a new car I will never ever again owner Ford or use Sarasota Ford for anyting. So buyers beware More

Desperate out-of-towner During a visit with my elderly Mother, in Bradenton, my starter gave out. While the starter was being replaced, I decided to have a coolant flush a During a visit with my elderly Mother, in Bradenton, my starter gave out. While the starter was being replaced, I decided to have a coolant flush and a set of new tires installed as well. They also discovered a clutch issue, and replaced that (under warranty). There was some waiting for parts and service, but Alex updated me daily and provided a rental, so I could return to Lake Placid for the weekend. A tremendous "THANK YOU!" to Joey Rippolone (the dynamic Product Specialist who I brought my new vehicle in for Surface Protection to be added today. A tremendous "THANK YOU!" to Joey Rippolone (the dynamic Product Specialist who sold me my SUV a few weeks ago) for arranging today's visit and affording me 5-star client service. Accolades also go out to the guys who detailed my SUV and applied the protective coating (which I always put on my vehicles and I definitely recommend.) My Escape looked amazing when it was returned to me. I want to also contribute that not only was Joey attentive to every detail of today's visit, but he even provided me with lunch. He also followed up with any questions I might have regarding my new SUV, now that I have been driving it a short bit. Additionally, I inquired about whether or not Ford made a sun visor for the front windshield specific to my Escape. He quickly looked into that and had one ordered for me within minutes. Today's visit reaffirmed for me that I did, indeed, make a very good decision when I decided not only to rid myself of the Acura TLX that I had purchased just 11 months ago from another dealership, but to also do business with Sarasota Ford in June, as well.
