Instead, Andy Sayroo and their mechanic Kenny stepped up and absolutely delivered. They took on the challenge of replacing the starter on my Lexus IS-F, a job most shops wouldn’t touch. Not only did they get it done quickly and correctly, but they also went above and beyond by ordering all the necessary parts and recommending additional components to replace while everything was already apart. During the process, they discovered both an oil leak and a coolant leak, identified the causes, and fixed them properly. They even replaced my water pump, ensuring the car would be reliable long-term. Their professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail were truly impressive. I’m beyond grateful for their hard work and dedication. If you’re looking for a dealership that truly cares and isn’t afraid to take on challenging jobs, Subaru of Sarasota is the place to go. Disappointed and Frustrated – Poor Customer Service at Sarasota Subaru Brought in our vehicle to Sarasota Subaru for service and left extremely disappointed. From the moment we dropped off the car, it Sarasota Subaru Brought in our vehicle to Sarasota Subaru for service and left extremely disappointed. From the moment we dropped off the car, it was clear that customer service and communication were not a priority. Despite explaining the issue in detail, we had to remind the staff multiple times what the original problem was, as if no notes were taken at all. The vehicle sat on their lot with no updates, and we had to chase them down for information. The mechanics themselves seemed competent, but the front-end management and customer service were completely inept. This review is specifically about one service advisor who failed to follow through, communicate clearly, or show any concern for the customer experience. To make matters worse, he claimed they couldn’t reach us because the phone number on file was incorrect. That was a lie, the correct number was listed on the original inspection paperwork he signed. We even received a phone call earlier from the dealership on that same number after we had called in. Yet he stated the number was incorrect or was giving him a dial tone. Because of this experience, we chose not to proceed with any repairs or recommendations. The lack of professionalism and accountability left a bad taste in our mouths and made us question our loyalty to the Subaru brand, at least when it comes to Sarasota Subaru. We will never return to this dealership, and now fully understand why so many people avoid servicing their vehicles at places like this. Get your act together. Straighten up. Put your smartphone down and get your desk organized. A truly disappointing experience. More
