i purchased a car from Sarasota Subaru about five years ago and have always had my service done there. today 7/9/25 i went for an oil chg. and 30k check. I saw an oil change special for 69.99 and told the service adviser Danny but he still charged me 79.99 but then gave me a 10 per cent discount, which was still 73.00. I asked that they check the door, which they did. It only needed a small striker adjustment which I was charged 94.50 for. I was at your place for about an hour. Looking at my receipt, I see I was charged for the gasket on the oil filter. Every oil filter I've ever changed the gasket was included. I had my cabin filter replaced and it costs 26.17 with 33.83 labor. He already had the filter out to show me so what the xxxx is 33.83 for labor? Then you go to the totals and there are 27.95 misc. charges. Then a charge for less insurance 22.84. What is that? When I asked Danny to explain the charges, he just told me about the 10 per cent discount on the oil change and handed me to the cashier. These seem to me to be additional charges you are not disclosing. I received an oil change, door striker adjustment, and a cabin filter for 269.12. This is a rip off and I will never do business with your company again. 165.99 for labor???? You are ripping people off and I will do some Google reviews to let people know how you rip them off. I was in car sales many years ago and what you are doing to people needs to be let known. It's no wonder car dealerships get such bad reviews, they add all these extra fees and such to make a larger profit. You will never get my business again. I am in the market for another car, but I will take my business elsewhere. More

We bought a car that we wanted and needed at Sarasota Subaru in February 2025 after this dealership was recommended by caredge.com. Jon Wilson texted me that he could find a car to fit our budget. I was very insistent about sticking to the out the door price we needed to have. Jon told me what he could offer but I said, I guess we can look for a used car. But Jon said, he could find what we needed and that we should just drive up to test the model we wanted in the color we wanted. When we arrived, we planned on driving a car and then going elsewhere but surprisingly, he found a base trim model that felt sporty and came in our favorite color. The car was gorgeous and comfortable. I wad shocked he found this car so fast! Needless to say, we ended up buying the car. So many people came over to explain and congratulate as well as offer their services in getting to know the car better. We were impressed by Jon Wilson and the team. I was amazed at how easily we could buy the car, transfer our plate, print out new insurance cards and drive both the old car for donation and the new car home. It all took three hours! That’s it. The salesperson was sincere and worked hard to sell us what we wanted without any hassle! His teammates were there to offer us assistance and support. The general manager came out to us and shook our hands. He did ask us if we wanted to rate their service, which we did. So now our neighbor intends to sell her Camry and buy a Subaru. Guess who she should go see? More
