My Review of Saturn Of Lynnwood:
My husband and I had never bought a car from a dealership before, so we figured we'd try Saturn because of their no-pressure, no haggling business model. The salesman who helped us was friendly and did not pressure us at all, which was great. The problem came when it was time to talk to the finance manager. We waited almost 2 hours (after having been at the dealership for 2.5 hours already choosing a car) to talk to the finance manager. It was dinnertime and we were hungry, but they kept telling us it would only be "10 more minutes." There was no one else in the dealership and no apparent reason to make us wait. Apparently, they wait until you are desperate to leave to let you see the finance manager so he can pitch you an expensive extended warranty plan, because that's what he did once we got in to see him.

Also, our salesman told us that we would be getting a customer satisfaction survey from the dealership and that if we didn't give him a perfect rating in all areas, he wouldn't get his commission on the sale, so would we please give him our word that we would give him perfect ratings? What kind of system is that? We never received the form.

Overall, I wouldn't say the experience was horrible, and if I really wanted to buy a Saturn I would probably go back. By the way, the car (1999 Saturn SL1) has been great so far.
