Can't recommend a dealer. that charges for work not done. Went for tire rotation and free update. They charged me $50.00 for.a tire.rotation that wasn't done. How.do I know.they didn't do it, I marked.my tires. They did issue a refund aftrr being caught and did the rotation after.at no charge but can't trust them. If they did it to me how many others.have.they done it to. That also means your scheduled maintenance was.not done and could cause we premature tire wear. Second time I have caught charging for work not done. I filed.a.complaint with GM which went no where. Losing my trust in GM. Asked to speak with the owners about it and was denied. Robert and Melissa were both extremely professional and proficient with handling my truck repair. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for my dealings with.GMC Corperate.. I have an open case on my truck.(#70286116) which has dragged on for over a month. Due to the lack of communication with the first Dealership I brought my truck to.for repair.(East Hartford Chevy) and Kirsten, my case manager I ended up losing two weeks of work. I made countless phone calls and sent many emails, which are all documented in my file. Kirsten, my case manager told me she would call me several times with a time parameter that fit her schedule and I agreed to be available. Those particular days I waited for her phone calls., but she did not call. I sent follow up emails asking when she would call again, which were not answered..After two weeks Kirsten, my case manager called me on a Saturday and expressed to me her understanding that she had let me down and was going to create a customer care package for me to make things right. She said she would call me the following Wednesday and update me on what that care package would be and follow up with an email. I waited almost 2 weeks and Kirsten called again.. I was expecting to hear what the customer care package would be as she promised.. to my surprise, she had a totally different story this time. She told me that she was waiting for approval from the dealership on what the customer care package would be.. to my surprise I replied what does the dealership have to do with the customer care package that you promised for me?? The Dealership did not let me down. They were extremely professional… you working for GMC Corperate were the one that let me down with your poor communication .. which you acknowledged, and the records in my file indicate, which cost me two weeks of work. Kirsten agreed, but told me that it was company policy. Again, I was promised by Kirsten a follow up phone call and email which I have not received.. I recently called GMC corporate again and asked to speak to management to oversee my case and review. I was promised that someone would call me and send me an email within 24 hours or one business day.. It has been several days and that has not happened.. I am extremely disappointed in the GMC families handling of this matter. I am not experiencing “Professional Grade” as the GMC commercials imply. I am taking the time to write this review in hopes that someone in GMC Corperate management will take the time to read my review and review my case and put some effort into restoring Hope in my belief in GMC. Excellent staff, mechanics, and facility. I only wish Scranton was closer to us. We purchased our Suburban from Scranton in 1992 after having 5- children, it is still helping the Family. Great service on recent appointment. Scranton honored warranty on used vehicle just recently purchased. They ended up replacing front and rear pads for free based on sensor issue.
