Service Department: I wish I can give them a ZERO (0)!! I was unable to make the appointment and had someone take my car in to have my 2015 Genesis Recall repair fixed. The recall fix is NO CHARGE. This I was unable to make the appointment and had someone take my car in to have my 2015 Genesis Recall repair fixed. The recall fix is NO CHARGE. This person is inexperienced about cars, but thought they would ask about why my door handle on the driver's side was not operational. They charged the person $80.04. I called and asked, why did you pay, the recall is free? Sheehy charged this to diagnose the problem to diagnose the issue. Sheehy did not inform the person beforehand that there would be a diagnostic charge to look at the handle. This is terrible customer service. I normally, do not go to this dealership; however, since the person was on that end, I thought it would be more convenient. Getting written authorization in advance should be standard practice. I'm going to go bck to Alexandria Hyundai where I know I can get outstanding customer service and they let you know if anything they do will cost before they work on your car. Money is tight in these times and to fork out money that was unexpected is TERRIBLE!! More

I wasn't sure I was going to buy a new car that day but after test driving it I was sold. Steven showed me how to operate all the bells and whistles and get me on my way. I've been back to the dealership for questions about the operation of some features and Steven has been very helpful in teaching me how to use them. I recently received two notices that I needed to make an appointment for first maintenance on my new Santa Fe which I did. After wasting half a day I emailed the manager of Sheehy Hyundai about this for which I have received no response.Since then I received my monthly vehicle report which stated that "maintenance is due on my vehicle. Contact Sheehy of Waldorf". I don't think I will bother because you evidently don't know anything about this. I don't get a warm feeling about taking my car to your dealership. On top of this when I was there every seat in your waiting room was taken which indicates to me that you don't do a very good job scheduling. Why would anyone want to take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get an oil change. I'm used to 1/2 hour to accomplish this. I have queried Hyundai about this. Perhaps they know what maintenance if any is needed on my vehicle. I had problems when I bought my vehicle there and it seems I will a]ways have problems if I continue dealing there. More
