My Review of Sierra Acura of Alhambra:
I had been using this dealer because it's about 3 miles from my house. I had several oil change services at this place, having to wait about 3 to 4 hours each time. For example, if my appointment time was 1 p.m., I'd get my car at 4 or 5 p.m. To cope with the long wait time, I tried scheduling an appointment at 3 or 4 p.m. They refused. One time I accepted their offer to drive me home after I dropped the car for the oil change. They promised me they would pick me up to get my car when it's ready. That day I called them every 1.5 to 2 hours to check the status. They never called me back as promised. Finally, when the service was done, roughly at 4:30 p.m. when I called them, they said the guy who drove the shuttle already went home. So I had to call up a friend to pick me up and drop me off at this dealer. The final incident nearly three years ago was my bye-bye to this dealer forever. This time was a four-hour oil change along with tire rotation (another scheduled maintenance). While I was at the premise, the service manager said they would announce my name to pick up the car when it's done. They never did. I checked with them about one and half hours; they just told me to wait until I heard the announcement. Having waited over two hours and the service facility was near closing time, I checked again. The service manager just said, "Oh, it's done half an hour ago." I said I told him to let me know when it's ready. There was no apology. Then, while I was paying the cashier, I noticed the service technician gave her my car key. After I paid, I asked for my key. She wouldn't look into the service envelope, saying my car key is already in the car waiting outside. When I got into my car, sure enough, it wasn't there. Immediately, she announced for me to go to her to get my key. After I got the key and went back to my car, I noticed the service light was still blinking. Reseting the light was precisely one of services to be performed. So I complained to them and they had a young mechanic came rushing in to reset it.

I bought my RSX in 2001 in Sierra Acura and had all the maintenance made in there until now. There service was never good but acceptable utnil recently it got even worse. Don't bring your car here. I will go to Glendale next time although its 15 miles farther than Sierra Acura from my home.

My Review of Sierra Acura of Alhambra:
I'm sorry to say that I got ripped off by this dealer. Several things should have tipped me off, but unfortunately I wasn't thinking on my toes, and that's my fault. First, the salesperson was less than friendly--she was snappy, and seemed reluctant to show us the interiors of the cars--she wanted us to pick which one we wanted to buy first. Then during the negotiation phase they mentioned an "extra equipment" package for $595--we knew they were bullshitting because everything in the TL is standard except navigation. Should have walked away right then. Anyway, after we bargained down to a price we thought was a good deal, we bought the car--only to find out that they did included the $595 in the total price. The Acura dealer in Covina sent us an estimate via email a few days later that was $600 under what we bought it for, and mentioned that the extra equipment comes free. What a bunch of bastards. DON'T GO TO SIERRA ACURA!!!!

My Review of Sierra Acura of Alhambra:
This Sierra Acura is a rip! I live 3 blocks away from this place, so I did all my service there. There used to be a service manager named Joe, but he left. That was when the service went from excellent to horrible. After Joe left, then came a new service manager named Mike. The first time I went, he said I need new brakes, and i did that. The 2nd time I went, he said my engine is leaking, radiator needs to be changed, and other stuff that cost a total of $2000+ dollars. I said i don't want to fix any of that and i left with just an oil change. I went to another service dealer, but one time, my car had a dead battery, I got my car jumped and had to find the closest dealer which was Sierra. I went in and said all I needed was a battery change and I would wait there. 30 minutes later, Mike came over and said, "legally I shouldn't be able to let you drive this car because there are numerous problems". I told him all i wanted was a battery change and he started to tell me that I have to fix everything which cost about $1500. Never go there and don't listen to this guy named Mike Spurlin. I used to go to Sierra for all my services, but ever since Joe and another service manager named Ken left, that spelled disaster. All the people I know told me similar stories about Sierra.
