Chris HERRIN sold a vehicle stating it was from a trusted mechanic that has worked at HYAUNDI alongside him for over 6 years. The vehicle was at about 86,000 miles and body was wise in great condition- C mechanic that has worked at HYAUNDI alongside him for over 6 years. The vehicle was at about 86,000 miles and body was wise in great condition- Chris HERRIN stated he’d check in with the mechanic who just traded the vehicle in to make sure there weren’t any problems with it (as Chris was a family friend/his family were family friends for 15plus years). He stated if there were any problems he’d be more than willing to help— When the first problem arose within days (we brought the vehicle in)— they wouldn’t fix it— Chris HERRIN said if anything else goes on he has a friend that fixed vehicles for cheap and will send our vehicle there— Before the 30 day mark the vehicle didn’t start. In the 6 months I had the vehicle- the same problem of the vehicle not starting was consistent— Over $6,000 later— and only having the vehicle in my position for a total of 42 days (not in a row) over the course of 6 months (due to it being in the shop— over and over again for the same problems of not starting and then another would arise)— No help from Chris HERRIN — when we came across the first problem to the end- his statement was- the car was as is- and it’s older (2012)- When brought up his statements of a promise this vehicle came from a trusted source as a trade in and the this person trades in all of the time— he denied saying that and said the mechanic no longer works there. There was NO assistance and never stated to bring the vehicle into the smart Kia shop or an apology. He stated, “It’s not my fault the car isn’t in your possession- or that it’s at a shop.” Once I got the vehicle started again- $6000 in debt from repairs) from an over $11,000 purchase - so about $14,000 with tax)- The vehicle had more problems After speaking to higher authority at HYAUNDI - they were not willing to help at all- until speaking with corporate- and even then they agreed to fix the air conditioning (that we made them put in the contact since it was winter and the air wasn’t coming out super cold)— which ended up being an over $2000 fix (that I had to fight to get them to follow through with after receiving a call stating they wouldn’t pay)— AND a hole in the exhaust- they didn’t pay for that either so over $100 more in debt to the vehicle— I pick the vehicle up from them — only to still hear the exhaust noise I call them- and bring it back Monday- to where they stated they wouldn’t pay for it (there was a loose nug between that keeps the engine from moving) and the mechanic was awesome to even search for that— because he knew how difficult HYAUNDI had been with our car and all the money we’d put into it ((the alignment light came on TOO!) which is over $2000 to fix— Corporate said they’d meet with us and never did and had the manager call and say they aren’t meeting and they will fix the engine nug and that we should be happy their even doing that and used the $2000 air conditioning fix over my head— that they put that money into my vehicle too ((which—again— was stated in the contract so it wasn’t part of all the other stuff that went wrong) This vehicle needed over $10,000 in repairs at the end of it all. And..again- through it all from the first repair it needed days into owning the vehicle- to 20 days in to when the vehicle stopped starting- there was NO help from CHRIS HERRIN and didn’t apologize once. Wouldn’t give us something else or even take initiative to stand up and admit this vehicle wasn’t from a mechanic that was trusted who worked there— Upon speaking to others- this vehicle secretly had a lot of problems and the owner was aware- Upon searching records of the vehicle we found some of the same issues happening and it was known—-I write this review only for the purpose of letting those out there know that Chris may play the friend card— but selling the vehicle is his only care. & he will not assist. They are a horribly unorganized non-communicating dealership! I have never had a worse experience in a car dealership in my whole life and I'm 45 years old that's a lot. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle because of a mix up on their end very unprofessional I do not recommend anyone goes there ever for a vehicle. More

I first called him after opening to start the conversation, in which I was then reverted to texting him. After a 4.5 hours with no communication back, I started asking for an update. Finally 30 more minutes later, I start getting responses again. Then finally found out that the car was now being negotiated by someone else and sold out from under my nose. I was ready with the money and transportation to get it to me. If you can't get to their car lot, it there's not point in even trying to purchase a vehicle from them. You will be second rate, even when you are negotiating price to complete a purchase! They tell you a lot of "I understand", but they don't really. It's a shame in the post-COVID times that this is how it plays out for them. More
Had a great experience with the Service Dept. at Smart Kia. They had to replace the engine in a 2013 KIA Optima thru an extended warranty. Joshua Henry, Service Advisor, had KIA approve the repair and or Kia. They had to replace the engine in a 2013 KIA Optima thru an extended warranty. Joshua Henry, Service Advisor, had KIA approve the repair and ordered a new engine. He kept us informed when he received the parts and when it was ready for pickup. Very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them. They made it easy for us! Thank you! More

The entire process was a pleasure, and after visiting many other lots on our car purchasing journey, they were by far the best shop in town. More

oil change and tire rotations I paid for an oil change and a tire rotation. I then was told I needed several additional fixes. totaling about $500 all together. But the worst part is when I got home I looked at the tires and they had not been rotated at all. We have a rim that had some marks on it and it was still on at that area of the car. Very disappointed, not only was I there for an hour the work wasn't done. I will be contacting Kia Corporation. More

I think I test drove every type of car that Lujack Kia had on the lot and my salesperson David Woods was patient and worked with me over a period of time until I found what I wanted and did not haggle me not once. I would have gotten fed up with me if I was him, but nope, he was awesome. After I found the car I wanted, then they put up with all the questions I had on pricing. Lujack Kia did an outstanding job and David Woods is amazing. If you are looking for a great car, go to Lujack and ask for David Woods. More
