My Review of South Bay MINI:
The service team acts friendly but is actually very difficult to work with and get a hold of. Also, the wait times are long and they are just not very helpful.
But here's the real kicked. I own a mini, as does my mom. At 35,500 my mom took her car in for service, but she was not allowed to service it because the service indicator said she needed about 400 more miles to service.
At 35,900 or so, the light came on. It was around Christmas, and my sister borrowed the car for two days. My mom took the car in when it had 36,090 miles and they said that they couldn't help because it was past service (!), even if it was 1 mile over service So the window was <100 miles over.
I know that this was not true because when my car was 900 miles over they told me that they could help out as long as it was <100 miles.
My mom ended up taking her car to Long Beach Mini, which helped her out.
