My Review of Porsche of Downtown L.A.:
The Downtown LA Porsche dealership ROCKS!!
In comparison, I had HORRIBLE service at Circle Porsche -- one of their mechanics did paint and body damage to my Boxster during a routine service. They were going to let me drive off the lot without mentioning it, but luckily I saw the damage before leaving. When I confronted the Service Manager, I got all kinds of lip service about not contacting insurance, just let them "fix it" for me. I brought the car back a week later for paint; but to my horror, when I came back to pick up my car a few days later the paint job was AWFUL!! It looked like a drunk person attacked my car by candlelight with a sander. The swirl marks were visible in any light, and on top of that, there was paint overspray all over the place on other surfaces of the car. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
The paint company they use is "Class Auto Body" in Long Beach -- they're AWFUL and incompetent!!! They have a class C BBB rating. It's unconscionable to me why on Earth a Porsche dealer is using any third-party service provider with a class C BBB rating. They redid the paint job and removed the overspray, but my detailer (who does a lot of work for Beverly Hills Porsche) said it was a poor job, and that the paint would eventually orange peel. Which it did.
THANK GOD for DOWNTOWN LA PORSCHE!!!! They were professional, they didn't damage my car, they didn't overcharge, they didn't do any unnecessary repairs. They were on time, informative, and easy to work with. They shuttled me over and back promptly.
If you want to be treated fairly, honestly and professionally, I highly recommend Vicky and her team at Downtown LA Porsche.
