Don't go to this dealer buyer beware! !I bought a 2011 ford expedition limited back in February from the moment I pulled away that evening I started having problems. I called the very next !I bought a 2011 ford expedition limited back in February from the moment I pulled away that evening I started having problems. I called the very next day which was a Saturday and made Jeff the salesman I had aware of the problems he said he would have to get with the guy in charge of the shop Monday to see when they could get it in to look at it, I never got a call back on that Monday so Tuesday I called and left a message I still never got a call I again called Wednesday and Thursday with again no one getting back to me. Saturday morning I left a review obviously it wasn't a good one it wasn't a hr after that review I have someone contacting me from the dealership and it was the manager asking me all kinds of questions and telling me his boss told him to fix this issue so he told me he personally was going to see to it my ride is fixed. He was asking when I could drop it off and I told him whenever as long as I'm getting a loaner because it is my only transportation and getting someone to follow me up to the dealer at 5 or 6 in the morning a hour away isn't going to be easy. They said they dnt do loaners but they have a car rental place they always use so I said great thinking they covered it. So I got the vehicle up there in the afternoon Tuesday and I had my son with me I told them some important information I had learned about the triton V8 motor that they were notoriously known to have timing belt and or chain issues around a 100,000 to about 16000 and I had 2 mechanics tell me that and that's what it sounds like my issue is they said they were taking itdwn the Rd so I left a note on my seat explaining what I had learned they proceeded to take me and my son to the rental place. They drop us off and left come to find out they didn't cover anything nor did they even call them to reserve a car and that's what all dealerships do but most cover it for their customer. So my son and we're stranded I had to call a friend for a ride. After 3 days I picked it up and it still wasn't fixed so I had to make a appointment again therefore trying to find someone to follow me and drop it off. Keep in mind they only give u 30 day 3000 mile warranty and it seemed like I was constantly giving the run around so they could say I had it over the time now it's not under warranty. I finally was able to drop it off again by this time I got some body damage from a deer so I was trying to plan it where I could have them fix that issue and then I'll pick it up and take it to the body shop. After another 3 days they said they put a sensor on it and they drove it and runs great so I picked it up and drove it 10 min down the Rd to body shop they had it for 2 months I picked it up from body shop just last week and on my way home it started idling rough again and almost died so I call the dealership on Friday the 17th asking for a manager and I explained this whole situation to this guy he tells me he is with a customer and he would have him call me asap guess what heard absolutely nothing and now it's Monday afternoon and still nothing this dealership is the absolute worst I've ever dealt with they lie to you and sell junk we hooked it up to a code reader and it through 6 codes they told me it wasn't throwing any codes after I lef them and they lied. So hear I am I've had problems from day one and it never got fixed like I was promised and it's past the warranty and I'm getting the run around. I'm not done this car is the true definition of lemon and now I guess I have to go to the next level and get a attorney since auto plaza lied and sold me a lemon so whatever you do go anywhere but south county auto plaza to buy your next car or truck.. this dealer is a joke. here's how it works. they will agree to lower the price of the vehicle, but when you finance it. their "finance company" won't sell you at the price. They will add $1-$3k on top of agree to lower the price of the vehicle, but when you finance it. their "finance company" won't sell you at the price. They will add $1-$3k on top of the price because the finance company "priced" that way. Don't be fool by them. There is no such thing as the price set by the finance company. Don't waste your time here. They are fooling you. More
