My Review of South Motors BMW:
As the old saying goes; “When you are a prospective client they wine and dine you with smiles, once you become a customer you get royally screwed.”

My salesperson “Johnny” is a true salesman, all smiles and jokes. The Sales manager, they keep him in the back with the Finance Mangers to avoid showing their sharp teeth. So be ready to negotiate…..for hours (it took me 10 hours) to get the price you want.

The service/maintenance department at South Miami Motors should come with a warning billboard.

“We are incompetent and don’t know what in the world we are doing”

This departments favorite line is “But, BMW gives you a 4 year/50K miles free maintenance on your car.”

The only problem is these guys do not do the scheduled maintenance required. Instead they cut corners to avoid doing the scheduled maintenance and getting the cars out faster. Cutting corners is not the way to do business, because at the end the customer really gets it good in the end. I thanked my lucky star for having purchased the "Safe Lease - Excess wear and tear protection plan". This plan protected me by paying South Motors the arm and leg they demanded for the excess wear and tear they could have avoid with proper maintenance.

I do not recommend BMW South Motors and strongly advise all past, present, future customers to know whom they are dealing with.

These guys used to be pretty bad but what a turnaround over the last 6 months. Must of had a serious wake-up.
Definetly a first rate service experience on my last two visits, the partners in my firm agree

My Review of South Motors BMW:
I have to go to this dealer for service of 3 cars. It is the worst dealer I have ever dealt with. We just bought a new car and made an offer on a car. We were not happy with the trade in value and lack of discount on the new car. We went to the other dealer in town, bought the exact same car and saved $3000! Forget about service. No one answers the phone and there is no way to get thru.

My Review of South Motors BMW:
Leased my 325I from them 3 years ago. For the past 3 years I've dealt with crappy service. It takes for ever to get an appointment and when you finally take the car in, you can never get a straight answer on how long it will take to fix. They never call to let you know the car is ready. God forbid you aks to speak to a service advisor they are never in and when you get to speak to one they make you feel like you are wasting their time.

I love my car but I will probably get something else when my lease is up. It 's to much of a headache dealing with them to go through another 3 yrs. of poor service.

My Review of South Motors BMW:
They have managed to mess up everything i've ever asked them to do. The mechanics that are part of my service writer's team are horrible and I've had to have my car diagnosed by another shop so i can then have them fix it under warranty. For example, I'm sure many of you have had the problem with the felt trim around the windows coming unglued... I told them about it and they had the nerve to tell me there was nothing wrong with them... I had to show them in person how the felt was hanging.. like they could have missed that... POS service department... My girlfriend took her car in this weekend to have the sunroof visor repositioned since it came off the track, they got grease on the entire roof of the car (inside). I could go on and on... I'd take it back but you know they'd just mess something else up...

Worse than that, their collision center is even worse. Nice people but can't fix a car correctly or on time to save their lives... I had a scratch on my hood and my car has been there for over a month and the last time they gave it to me it had missing engine components. The funny part is, the engine was never touched by the damage. Just a bump on the hood...

I"m disgusted and disappointed!!! Save yourself a headache and take it to any other dealership...
