My father who is an elderly man suffering from numerous ailments. As with many old people he has lost much of his sensibility. This past week he visited the dealership just to brouse and not buy. In his golden years he has learned not to make any big decisions by himself without consulting with or bringing along a family member. However, on this day he was lured in by a salesman who saw him for the easy target and strongarmed him into buying a car. He showed my father a 2009 Altima, a car wich he was not familar with. This car according to the blue book listing should sell in good condition with 43000 miles at a dealership for $15000.00. This car had 43000 miles, however it was not in good condition. The car was so heavily smoked in that the smell was imbeded in everything. The back of the passanger seat was simply missing and there were cigaret burns throughout the interior. There were also no car mats.He couldn"t smell the smoke due to the fact that he suffers from emphasima and lost his sense of smell years ago. Further, the exterior had two obvious spots where it had been damaged and was touched up with paint.Far from what costitutes good shape.The car didn't even run well but they didn't bother to let him test drive it. When my father feeling overwhelmed said he would go and get a bite to eat, the salesman told him to stay seated and ran out to Wendy's to get him some food. Then in another attempt to leave my father said he couldn't do the deal today because he would have to go home and look for the title to his car that he had driven there that they wanted him to trade in. To that the sales person simply said no problem and put my father in his car and drove him to his house to retrieve it. So in the end my father retrieved the title to his car. The sales person then drove my 75 year old father back flustered and confused to the dealership. They sold my father the car for $17000 and well over $20000 after additional fees and sent him on his way. Once he got home he realized that he had not even gotten an owners manual or a second key.He went back to ask for the key and manual and they told him it would be $150.00 for the key and that they didn't have a manuel.Then maybe after there conscious got the best of them they gave in and gave him a key and an owners manual. The manuel wasn't even for his year car. When my family got involved and went back to the dealership, the manager denied knowing anything about it.When we showed him the car he even had to admit that he couldn't belive they would let a car go out looking like this. He further stated that he has no control over those employees. He said Nissan sends the sales peopl from out of state to different dealerships to sell the pre-owned cars. After much persistance we got them to give my father a new Sentra . However, they wouldn't refund any of the money so he ended up paying well over the sticker price.In the end it was the best we could make out of a bad situation. He still ended up being ripped off just not as bad. The dealership should be embarrased with the unethical lengths that they will go to just to move a car . More

When my father said he had to go home to get the title to the car he was intending to turn in and also think about the deal, Terrance the salesman went as far as following him to his house to retrieve the title and complete the deal! When we heard what happened, we went right to the dealership to see what could be done. The only thing they did to us was proceed to try and rip us off further. They agreed that my father over-paid but offered no refund. They then said they could try to fix up the car or offer us a new sentra for $3.000. over the sticker price. They also tried to sneak in an extended warrantee for $1600.!! Do not EVER use this dealership. Do not reccommend your friends or family. More

When visiting this dealership, though a mailer advertising liquidation prices and fleet vehicles for $50 a month we decided to give this dealership a try. Bait and switch. Now I know Long Island dealers do this frequently as I've had it happen several more times than I care to know. We stated very clearly that we did not want to supass the 12k mark. We stated that including all fees, taxes, licensing, EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF - we did not want to pass that mark. We let them know our range of 10-12k and stated where we would like that in monthly payments. If they couldn't do it, not a problem. Just tell us. They proceeded to do everything other than what we asked them. One can imagine the backslapping as they high-fived each other as we finally left "Man, can you believe we kept them going for 3 hours?! Yeah, funny stuff man! So who's winning the bet so far? Oh, Pedro? Man, That guy has such a great poker face." They offered us a nice 2008 Sentra base model in good condition. @ 19k. With 33,900 miles on the odometer. Then the carfax report showed an accident (And to the condescending jerk who told us "now sweetie," like he was dealing with the most vapid woman he's ever come across while claiming an absurdity that we're supposed to suck down, tasting like the word vomit it was, learn some manners.) We dealt with very pleasant staff in the beginning who continually introduced a new person into the mix each time claiming they had spoken to the bank. A KBB priced car of equivalent value for a 4 year old excellent condition vehicle SOLD BY A DEALER, so it accounts for the markup, was listed at OVER the original MSRP by this dealer. By almost 6k dollars. Not a little bit. Not a modest amount to turn a profit. Six. Thousand. Dollars. The vehicle they showed us was NOT in Excellent condition. It was definitely not a garbage car, but there was visible rust on the rims, scrapes and scratches, and had been in an accident where the entire bumper needed to be replaced and I wouldn't have been too comfortable taking possession of it without having an independent mechanic inspect the frame either. When we pointed this out, it still took the staff, who became increasingly condescending, (With the exception of the original Salesman that came to us. He was pleasant thoughout) almost, if not all of, 3 hours to get down to the price we had said we needed for a deal to be made in the first place. But on a car we weren't even sure we wanted to purchase and made clear several times. This wasn't hemming and hawing and haggling on a car we wanted. It was the dealer trying to shoehorn us into a vehicle we clearly did not want. No attempt to get a car within the range or tell us they didn't have one, just an afternoon of tedious hard-sell time-wasting BS. At that point I said they'd wasted enough time and my family went to leave. As we're walking out we were told that they could meet our price. Suddenly. After wasting our time for 3 hours and making us feel that taking a shower would not remove the stain of dealing with such deceitful shysters. As though mere water could wash us of our sins of allowing such souls as these to exist. May God have mercy on us for allowing them to continue to procreate and have business licenses. More

I originally visited massapequa Nissan in the hope of buying a lightly used 2010 or 2011 Murano. I was helped by Zak. We listened politely but were not interested at the prices he was quoting. He also severely low balled our trade in. (1st visit total time wasted 2 Hrs.)About one week later Zak called and said he had a 2010 Murano with 12k miles on it and suggested we come take a look. We went back to the dealership to look at the car. The car was in very poor condition. Filthy inside and out, exterior scratches, interior scuffs and srcapes. We told Zak we were not interested in that car and he said that was why we should buy a new one.We told him that we were in no hurray and would wait for a better car.He said fine and that he would keep looking and to call him if we found something else where. (2nd visit total time wasted 1 Hr.) A couple of weeks later I did find a potential car at an out of state dealer. After negotiating the price I called Zak and explained the details on this 2011 Murano. Zak said he would call me right back after speaking to his manager. True to his word Zak called me back in about 10 minutes and said that since they did not have a similar lightly used model The manager offered to sell us a new 2011 at the same price rather then lose our bussiness.I went over the numbers with Zak again to make sure there was no misunderstanding about the price and Zak stated that "Yes that was the price". That evening we went back to the dealership for visit number three.When we got there Zak greeted us and we looked at the car. It was absolutely beautiful. We sat down and Zak went to get the paperwork while we filled out a credit application. When he returned I looked at the sales contract which was still blank except for a $795.00 administrative fee. I immediately told him that that was unacceptable and to not even run our credit until that fee was removed. He said he understood and would be right back.Several minutes later he came back and invited us to sit down with the finance /sales manager Jim who had now already run our credit ( Zak had completely ignored my specific instructions to the contrary). Jim then proceeded to lay out a deal that was roughly $2000.00 more (and still included the administrative fee) then the agreed upon price. When I objected Jim said That we were getting a great price and should not complain. When I continued to object He said "Fine now you can't have the car and we are DONE!" I then asked to speak with someone else and we met another manager named Christina who apologized but said there was nothing she could do and that was the deal.Oh and by the way,they also tried to gouge us on the financing saying that this deal was predicated on us financing at least $20,000.00 at 5.9%. A ridiculous rate considering we have perfect credit. Christina explained that if we wanted a lower rate the car would be an additional $3000.00 At this point we gave up and left. ( 3rd visit time wasted 2 hrs.)Total time wasted 5 Hrs.I would not buy a car from them nor would I reccomend that you do. Foot Note In the end this dealer ended up fixing the situation and we bought the car Just be careful. More

11/27/2011. I would like to share with everyone my nightmare experience at Massapequa now Seaford Nissan. These guys are just fraud. I did an on-line price inquiry about new 2011 Nissan Rogue. I recei nightmare experience at Massapequa now Seaford Nissan. These guys are just fraud. I did an on-line price inquiry about new 2011 Nissan Rogue. I received a call from the customer service. The sales person (Lashe) asked me if I would want to lease or Finance. I said I would want to Finance and he gave me the price. I had asked if there was any hidden additional cost. He said that was a price. I went to a dealership. Lashe introduced me to the other sales person (Dave) who was going to help me with a car purchase. The manager (who oversees the sale) was there also. We agreed on the price for a trade in car and signed the original offer contract. The price on the contract was the same price as i was told minus the trade in amount plus the delivery cost. I paid $1,000 to secure the price and even put the new car on my insurance. Up to that point everything was fine. (I was stupid enough not to take the copy of that contract.) We went to a finance department and there it started. The finance guy said that the price of the car is $4,000 more. He said that the sales persons (Lashe and Dave) did not tell me that the price we agreed to did not include downpayment amount of $4,000. I asked what about the contract price on the car I just signed. I asked to see it again and he said he would not give it to me. I went back to the Dave and asked him to give me a copy and he said that the finance guy already shredded it. I asked for my money back. The finance guy told me that he does not want to lose me as a customer and offer to decrease the price by $500. I was very mad. I spent over 3 hours in that place. They hold me as a fool. Of course, I did not buy the car and they gave my money back, but i never would get my 3,5 hours of my life back. So, if you thinking to go there you should think twice. I do not know if all those good reviews are real but know for sure my IS. Stay away from that place if you don't want to get robbed. More

I would highly recommend Massapequa Nissan and my salesman Steve. The experience there was better than any other car dealership I have dealt with in the past. I went online and sent in inquires to 5 Nissan Dealerships, Everyone that did contact me told me I had to come in to get a price and refused to even give me an estimate but, Massapequa gave me pri Dealerships, Everyone that did contact me told me I had to come in to get a price and refused to even give me an estimate but, Massapequa gave me prices upfront and explained it was an educated estimate which I can respect...Two other dealers offered less but with strings attached and horrible service..When i went in they gave the price they offered and made this a wonderful experience for me and my family...Stay AWAY FROM GARDEN CITY AND ATLANTIC BUT, GET TO MASSAPEQUA NISSAN FOR A FAIR PRICE More
