Didn't feel like a customer I live in Richmond and I inquired about a older Acura the same day it was posted on the website. I was contact by headquarters to make an appt. I said sure I will be in the Hampton Roads area this Sunday. I was also interested in another vehicle at the Chesapeake location and asked could we get the vehicle moved. By the time my appt came Sunday, no one had contacted me letting me know which physical location the vehicle was nor that the vehicle was still in the shop and not ready for a test drive. The manager quoted "mame it was not my responsibility" and pointed the blame to other people. Overall I constantly had to call the dealership to receive an update (poor customer service) and would have still purchased the vehicle if we could have negotiated a little more. I felt like the time wasn't taken since I was interested in an older vehicle verses a new Acura. My model of customer service is ALL customers are valuable customers no matter what they are buying. Was very dissapointed with my experience. The only reason I gave this a star is because the two salemen I dealt with (Devin & Keith) were very pleasant. More

My first purchase was a used Acura and it never gave me a single problem. Mr. Daryl Hoe is a fabulous salesman and will really go to bat for you. The people on the financing team, more specifically Mr. Gordon was a pleasure to work with. This is not the kind of dealership that has salesman descend on you like buzzards. It is a nice , relaxed atmosphere and everyone is really friendly. If you are in the market for a car, new or used, give this dealership a try. You will not be disappointed! More

"Broke down three hours from home" I got my car serviced at Hall on 6/17/14 because my temperature gauge was reading higher than it normally reads. I spoke with hall's service department asking their opinion on how we should fix this problem. The coolant flush was what was finally choose as what could fix the problem. I was told my car would be ready in an hour and a half i waited 2 hour before i final went and checked on the status of my car and they said we are doing your paper work right now. So i go back and wait 10-15 more minutes before anyone speaks to me. I left the Virginia area on Sunday 6/22/14 and 2 hours into my trip my car runs hot breaks down and leaves me on the side of the road. i was able to find a U-haul service. I had to rent a truck and trailer and drive the rest of my trip back home pulling my car. If Hall's service department would have truly checked the coolant system i think they would have found the problem. I called today and all i got was i'm sorry but we didn't find anything. I wouldn't recommend anyone to Hall's service department even. More
Mr.Mebane was a very attentive, knowledgeable salesperson. He thoroughly explained the ILX features, let me test drive every color I was interested in even let me do an overnight drive. I was set on the base model because of the price however even after the paperwork was done for the base model I changed my mind again the garnet tech package was calling my name. Mr. Mebane never got upset or showed any signs of you can't do that. He said whatever makes you happy. I purchased the ILX TECH and I am very happy with the vehicle, the price and the customer service I received at HALL ACURA. I will definitely recommend Mr. Mebane and HALL to others. More
Every time I have my car serviced at this dealership there is a problem. Today I had a simple oil change and car wash. My car was brought around to the front of the dealership. It sat there for about 20 there is a problem. Today I had a simple oil change and car wash. My car was brought around to the front of the dealership. It sat there for about 20 minutes. I went inside to ask a rep if my car was ready and so at that point she did my paperwork. I had a free oil change coupon that had no expiration date on it and it was NOT honored. So I had to pay the $45 fee that I was not anticipating to pay. My car was poorly washed. The tire shine was not evenly distributed, the windows were not clean and the car was just overall not clean. I go to this dealership because it is closer to me, however, if EVERY time I come here it's a problem I might as well have my car serviced at another dealership like Priority. If I ever buy another Acura it will definitely be from Priority. You automatically get free oil changes and the salesmen will pick your car up, have the car serviced and then return it to you. They are all about customer service. So I would not recommend getting any vehicle serviced here. Also, there is a high turnover rate at this dealership with all of the employees. There have been several service managers within 4 years. I have purchased two vehicles from two different sales people and neither of the two are there. I think this speaks volumes about how the company treats its employees and customers. More
This dealership always disappoints in the area of customer service. My experience buying my car was a nightmare. The sales person, Andre, and manager were very pushy and aggressive. The service department is the worse i've ever experienced. The employees are rude and just don't offer the kind of customer service you would expect from an Acura dealership. If I ever purchase another Acura it will be with Priority. They offer so much more when buying a car and they exemplify customer service. More
Hall Acura in Newport News was the second Acura dealer that we had visited to look for a used TL on 12/1/2012. We were greeted by Mr. Wallace and was not hasseled or hounded from the time we met. He let us test drive the car and before long we were signing paperwork to buy it. He was very friendly and informative. He answered all questions that we had and made sure he informed us and filled us in on all steps along the way. The only negative I have about the dealership is the cleaning department. Although, I purchased a used car, I feel that steps should have been taken to make sure the car was cleaned and appropriate for a new owner to drive home. Mr. Wallace took no time to step in and address the matter with the cleaning department and manager. If I have any future issues or questions, I will not hestitate to contact Mr. Wallace and feel comfortable knowing that he will help me any way he can. The whole staff at the Newport News location was very friendly and helped my car buying experience move along smoothly and without headeache. More
New car buying from Hall Acura was a welcome change from the normal dealership. We knew we might want an Acura SUV after looking at Toyota Highlanders and realizing that after putting the options on we wa the normal dealership. We knew we might want an Acura SUV after looking at Toyota Highlanders and realizing that after putting the options on we wanted, it cost the same as the MDX which already had all of them in one package. We first looked at our local Acura dealer in Richmond, and were very turned off by the salesperson and the sales manager. Once we were finally able to escape from there, we decided to drive the 80 miles to the next closest dealer in Newport News. When we arrived at Hall, it was like night and day. Andre Wallace was most informative and helpful, and not at at all pushy or "scripted". He spent a great deal of time listening to what we were looking for, and explaining the difference between the RDX and the MDX. He was was very knowledgable and honest about the cars. We easily negotiated a very reasonable price for the car, and after reading some online forums, found it was significantly less than others were paying at different dealerships. They didn't have the color we wanted with the Tech package, but found one at their Va Beach store, and shipped it over in a hour, got it ready, and we drove home in it. I will definitely drive the 80 miles from Richmond back to Hall Acura the next time I want a new car. More
