Bad expereince from start to finish 1. Had a 9:30 appointment and when I arrived was told it would be at least 1.5 hours because there were 2 people in front of me. Why do you schedule 1. All said and done, I was there for 2.5 hours. 2. I had a coupon for a free oil change. When checking out the cashier stated that it was only good up to 5 quarts and mine took 8 so I had to pay for the additional 3. 8??? That is so interesting since my truck only takes 6!!! After speaking with a couple people they apologized as a "billing error". Nice try on trying to scam someone. 3. I also got my tires rotated. I had a coupon for this and when checking in I was assured I could use both coupons. Well...the cashier stated that I couldn't. I had her call my advisor who told her that she said I could and she would speak with a manager to just charge me appropriately. The cashier was very snippy with the advisor about not doing it until the manager "actually apporved it". This was an exchange between them that shouldn't happen in front of customers. I then had to wait for another 15 minutes to get the manager's approval. 4. When leaving I noticed oil on my seat and my floor mats. There was no way I was going back in there to address this after the time and issues I already had so I just had it cleaned myself. I had numerous issues last year with the Southern dealership in Chesapeake and now this. I will never go to a Southern dealership again and will definitely make sure no one I know does. More

I had an appt at 7:30am and I called around 4 to find out the status to find out it just made it to the rails and that they were just looking at it. Then I call back 45 mins later to be told she would call me back. Calls me back to give me this long list of things that needs to be done over $2500 worth of work. I advised I would take it somewhere else and get a quote. Took it to another GMC and they didn’t see any of those issues. They saw something else and cost is about $700. Word of advice if they quote you on something take it somewhere else or just don’t go there to begin with. From other reviews I see this is normal for them to give you an extremely high quote for repairs or tell you it’s one thing when it really something else. DO NOT GO HERE More

Go somewhere else Never. Ever. Again. I will go out of my way to have my vehicle serviced elsewhere. I had a leak in my AC system. My regular mechanic could not do the Never. Ever. Again. My regular mechanic could not do the job because GMC made sure you needed a GMC only tool to wefix the problem. I had a drop off appt for 8:30 on a Monday. Just got my car back today, Saturday. Never looked at my car til Tuesday. Did not tell me the part would not arrive until Friday. That is 3 days I could have had my car while waiting for the part. Sat there. Doing nothing. ASOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, throughout the whole process. Had to keep calling. Never even called me when it was completed. Plus the job cost me at least $1,000 more than it would have somewhere else. I also asked them to look at a recall part that they replace awhile back that isn't working correctly and hasn't since day ONE. They don't have record that they fixed it. Of course they found other issues while it was there too. Those declined issues were not on my invoice. This place is a joke. Don't cause yourself unnecessary frustration. Go anywhere else. More

Pissed Customer I bought my kia sorenta on December 22, 2016 not one problem with the salesperson Bailey, good salesperson so i thought on January 31, i text Bailey t I bought my kia sorenta on December 22, 2016 not one problem with the salesperson Bailey, good salesperson so i thought on January 31, i text Bailey to let her know i had a slow leak in my tire and that i went to a local tire place to get the tire fixed but the tires had locks on them and that the gentleman couldn't fixed my tire without the wheel lock key, i was told i bought a used vehicle so it's as is, well i talked to the sevice department and i was transferred about six times between departments until i talked to Lori in the service department she told me everything would be taken care of and to come to the service department and ask for her on February 1, 2017. I left work in Portsmouth and made it to lynhaven Kia i spoke with lori she gave me a wheel lock kit, Lori told me on the phone they would take care of it so i assumed they would change my tire and find out the problem, but i was wrong, so i had to drive back to Portsmouth on a half flat tire, i took it back to the local tire place and come to find out this was the wrong kit, they gave me a wheel lock set, i didn't need a wheel lock set, the wheels were already locked i needed the tool to unlock the wheels. They didn't listen to me so now o habe a wheel lock set o dont need. All i wanted was to get my tire fixed thats all, they really gave me a bad taste in my mouth i will never recommend any body to buy a car from this dealership.i have the Southern Hospitality buyers program warranty as well as a limited warranty, but if i would've broke down on the side of the road or the tire burst on me they would've sent a tow truck to change the tire, well my question is why couldn't they just change my tire instead of giving me the run around. However, run as fast as you can away from the service department!!!! I have had multiple issues with our 2nd car (also a Kia) that have been going on for 6 months and are still waiting on resolve. Multiple calls went unanswered, I had to wait for 5 hours with 2 small children for my car to get "looked at". After all that time they did nothing to fix the car but said they needed to schedule a time to work on it. I have had not one positive experience with their service department. They are not helpful or organized in the least. Such rude business practice to not return phone calls when you are in need of your car being fixed so you can use it. Not sure why we purchased our new Kia here but I instantly regretted it. More
