When I got there was told next appointment was 2 weeks out. Then had to move that appointment and voice mail never made it to Ms Spangler. My daughter had an appointment during the same time period. She left a voice mail with no return call. Stephanie never got the voice mails. We have been with her for a long time. Since southern took over getting an appointment sucks!!!! More

In general, they serviced the car within 6 days and with only a deductible from me, which is expected. Rooms for improvement: (1) I was without a car for all but the last 24 hours despite the warranty sayi only a deductible from me, which is expected. For whatever reasons, the service manager was unable to coordinate the loaner car for over 36 hours after determination had been made that it was justified. I understand "life" gets in the way, I would expect another service agent to fill in when he was unavailable. I rated Edwin a 4, I would rate the Service Department as a whole as 3 because of this lack of backup. (2) The problem with the car was due to engine coolant being leaked/dumped into the cylinders. When I got the car back, the engine coolant tank was very far below "min", it took half a gallon to bring it back above the "min" line on the tank. I think it is reasonable to expect that service on coolant-leak-related problems would include topping off the coolant, as a courtesy if not an actual "finish" of the work done. (3) I have yet to receive any reply on the questions I texted in reply to the SMS I received from Southern Ford (that indicated "text or call this number"). If it is unreliable or difficult to use, that's a ding on the company. If it is easy to use and an oversight, then it is either a ding on Edwin or an indication of over-working the employees. (This is the "Poor" in the question below about "How was the communication".) More
