Since it's been almost 3 weeks since I asked for a private response, I assume there isn't one coming, and that no one there has any actual interest in addressing my concerns. I thought that someone would reach out, considering the fact that after someone from the dealership called me and took my credit card information for a deposit, you then allowed me to spend a week waiting for a hitch to be shipped and installed, only for me to find out when I arrived that the car you had waiting for me with a hitch installed was not the car on the pricing sheet I had been looking at during the process. I was told a story about what happened to the original car that, if it was actually true, should have triggered a call to me to let me know what had happened. "The car was left unlocked, a homeless person got into it and did unspeakable things, and we 'had to send it back'". No one thought to call? Or show me a police report? You'd have to have some sort of documentation if you were going to make an insurance claim due to damage.
