poor, deceptive, unprofessional found a 2015 sportage ex on their internet site. located at the mesquite site. made an appointment to come and test drive. My wife and I arrived and no one knew I was coming. after waiting about 20 minutes, I had to go up to an employee and ask for help. Finally, the car was brought out for test drive. The sportage, was advertised as an certified pre owned for 14,700. we explained that if we decided to buy, we would put down an amount to hold the vehicle as it would take several days to arrange for a cash purchase. After the test drive, we informed them that we were ready to purchase. The first thing was all of a sudden the price was now over 19,000 with a line item of almost 2000 dollars. for accessories. The salesman could not explain what the accessories were. My calculation of 14,700 plus tax and lic. the price would be just over 16,000. Without any real negotiation, the they dropped the accessory line item and the price came to 16,060. We said we would buy the vehicle. we were then told that they would not hold the vehicle for us, no matter how much money we put down. This came as a surprise. The manager who was very condescending, said that they were a high volumn internet dealer and that was the reason they would not hold the vehicle. Consider that this particular vehicle was in their lot for a couple of months. obviously, we left the dealership without a purchase agreement. We then drove to another southwest Kia site where I had previously purchased two used KIAs. This dealership was outstanding. They transferred the desired vehicle from mesquite, held it for several days and we are now driving it They explained the accessories. It seems that the advertised price of 14700 as a certified pre owned is not the price for this vehicle. if you want it certified, then it costs more. Not what the advertisement said. so, had to take the vehicle back the next morning because I could not get the low pressure light sensor to go off. This light was on when we took the original test drive. we were told that it was because the car was sitting for a while and the weather change caused the pressure problem. Well when they checked, it was revealed that there were no sensors on any of the tires. So, how does a vehicle that is certified, go through the certification process but not have the tpms sensors on any of the tires? It makes me believe that no certification check inspection actually took place. When did this several hundred points inspection take place? Well, the service rep agreed and was going to do the full inspection but was over ridden by the manager on duty on 1 Feb. More

Set up Appointment Spoke with two separate employees the day before yesterday, concerning one particular vehicle and set up an appointment to view it. I told them we liv Spoke with two separate employees the day before yesterday, concerning one particular vehicle and set up an appointment to view it. I told them we lived an hour away. They informed me that it would be ready to test drive once we arrived. We checked in and spent half an hour waiting while they tried to locate the car. I finally asked to speak to the manager. He told me that so many people assure them they are on their way then never show up so I should understand why the car was not available. He told the salesman, who turned out to be a different employee than either of the two who booked the appointment, to show me other options. I explained that the vehicle I made the appointment for was the only one that interested me. Told him that the trip across town took me over an hour and cost $10 one way on the George Bush Toll Rd. He offered to drive the car to me once it was located. The bottom line is I spent 2.5 hours all for nothing. I was lied to then called a liar. I called again yesterday but was told the manager would have to call me back. Still haven't heard a word. I gave them the opportunity to do the right thing prior to providing this review. Potential customers deserve to know all experiences both good and bad in order to decide if it is worth their time to select certain dealers. This is 2018 and there are unlimited options to pinpoint the vehicles and dealers that interest us. This was an unfortunate waste of my time. More
