I took my 2017 Forester in for some unplanned service on 1-12-2026. Sally in Customer service was very helpful and made an appointment that day. They gave me a loner car so they could have my Forester as 1-12-2026. Sally in Customer service was very helpful and made an appointment that day. They gave me a loner car so they could have my Forester as long as they needed to find a solution to my problem. My advisor was AnneMary in service. She too was very helpful and suggested some additional service needs, which I gave them approval to be done. They had the car a total 3 days. I have been using this service department for over 12 years and had free oil changes for life when I purchased my vehicle. They charged my daughter nearly $100 for an oil change. No notice that they disc years and had free oil changes for life when I purchased my vehicle. They charged my daughter nearly $100 for an oil change. No notice that they discontinued the plan and how do they discontinue a plan “for life”?? Terrible experience. I’ll be going elsewhere. More
