We were looking to buy a car from this dealership and we were told that we had to purchase a battery replacement for 599 and then a three year paint protect it for a thousand dollars or we could not buy the were told that we had to purchase a battery replacement for 599 and then a three year paint protect it for a thousand dollars or we could not buy the car, which is against texas law. Edger insisted there was no way around it. Newsflash...texas finance code 348.014 dealers may NOT require purchase of add ons. Under the texas deceptic trade practice...It is deceptive practice, false and misleading. They cannot say and I quote off the above code... "you must buy this battery package, or you're not allowed to buy the car". How many of you were "forced" to do this? More
