My wife and I bought the 2018 XT5 Cadillac under the assumption and feedback given to us by the salesman, as our Caddy being a “CPO” vehicle. Reason for which we did not question the salesman or requested a Carfax report. He unfortunately, is no longer with your organization. Approximately 6 to 7 months ago, my wife and I went to trade in the Caddy for another vehicle at another dealership. The salesman at that dealership pulled up the Carfax. When the salesman gave us the information of the vehicle being in a prior collision, the appraisal of our Cadillac dropped by $10,000. It is then, that the salesman showed us the Carfax and the report on the collision of the vehicle as being major damage. My spouse and I were completely taken by surprise, and needless to say so disappointed that truthfulness and transparency, was not the gold standard of Sullivan Cadillac. Your sales manager, Mr. Richard Gruber, or general manager, have sent us multiple invitations to trade-in our Cadillac for another Caddy. In lieu of, what had transcribed previously, my spouse and I would never do or recommend anyone to do business with Sullivan Cadillac again. It has been a very disappointing experience. Considering the fact that we did not receive full disclosure about the vehicle, we would never consider purchasing another vehicle from your organization. The standard of Cadillac and the reputation of Cadillac has stood for itself for many years. Deceptive business practices are not the gold standard of Cadillac. However, word-of-mouth can carry much weight, especially when neighbors friends and family asked or inquire as to your personal vehicle.
