Bodyvwork Went there for bodyvwork bc on list of body shops for State Farm. SK Honda gave me an estimate rather than direct me to body shop. He said I had to pay out of pocket then get insurance reimbursement Good thing I asked questions as his estimate was 3 times more than the bodyvsgops agreement with State Farm. I would not have gotten reimbursed by my insurance coverage. Very bad. More

I was so hoping that we would treated like gold and made to feel extra special. Don't get me wrong, everyone was nice and courteous, but that is what other dealerships do too. I was looking for an above average experience. For example, although we did not buy from Serra Honda in Birmingham someone from their customer experience team called to make sure a sales person contacted us and to see if there was anything else they could do to help us make a decision. We also received emails from them detailing the quality of their customer service after the sale. I have no idea what my after sale experience is going to be like with Sunny King. It would have been nice to have been introduced to the Service department and to be given a tour of the dealership to meet other team members. Altough Chad was a good salesperson, he did not everything about all of the features of the Odessey. He was knowledgeable, but not an expert. We struggled to figure out how connect the headphones to the Rear Entertainment System. We had to go buy a screwdriver, unscrew the cover palte, and then inset the batteries into the headphones. This is not a simple task for a grandmother of three to figure out at 7pm at night on the road. It would have been nice if the dealership would have set this up for us. We were given a set of jumper cables, but once again someone could have showed her how to use them. My point is this, the dealership experience at Sunny King was average. Let me give you another comparison. When I go to Superior Hyundai to have my Elantra serviced, I am made to feel welcomed and extra special. They review the history of my car and share with me how to extend the life of my vehicle. I trust them. My experience with Sunny King so far is again....average. We spent $50,000 on a new car, but have not received a handwritten thank card from the sales team. Has anyone chosen to call and personally see how we are enjoying our new vehicle? It is little things like this that make a great dealership. We hated parking in front of the dealership, because someone would always come out like a vulture and wait for us to get out of the car. You got our money, but you haven't earned our loyalty. Fortunately you have time on your side and all that remains now is the Service experience. To be honest, I wished we had considered going to Birmingham to purchase a car, because we have received more information about servicing and maintaining our vehicle from Serra than we have from Sunny King, our local dealer. The one outstanding person we interacted with was Austin. After our purchase we came back two days later needing assistance about using the audio system. He was very courteous and took the time out to explain how the system worked. Thank you Austin. More
