The Suntrup family have been servicing and selling cars since 1957 for the St Louis area. Bill Suntrup started the first dealership in the 1960s and a decade later his brother, Don Suntrup, began working in the automotive business. From there, the family involvement in the industry blossomed. Among the grown children of both Bill and Don, there are more than 20 additional family members employed in the Suntrup Automotive Group. Bill’s children, Chris and Tom are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo and Tom is President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters and Suntrup Ford Westport.
Butch and Craig, Don Suntrup’s children, are partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia South and Suntrup Hyundai in South County, and BMW of West St Louis. According to Craig Suntrup, “All the Suntrup’s started early in the business, beginning at about age 12, and working ‘grunt jobs’ at the dealerships–washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting the walls.”

He makes the experience of purchasing or leasing a new vehicle an easy transaction. he walks you through the whole transaction answering any questions you have and keeping you updated on the procgess of your transaction. This is the second time we have had Scott as our salesperson. The first was a lease and now this a purchase. His helpfulness doesn't stop when you drive off the lot, he checks up on you every few months to see how your vehicle is working out for you. Our daughter is looking for a new vehicle and we will be sending her to see Scott. More

Internet pricing is the way to go - Know before you BUY! Don't walk in without knowing what you want and how much you want to pay. Josh tried to up-charge me almost $3000 from the internet price quote I got in advance. I knew what I wanted to pay and he decided to play some games. I am not sure why he did this but it was not a customer service friendly approach. We reached an agreement but then he just handed me off to Jeff (which I was fine with). If you can use a computer, shop internet pricing - be specific - get quotes on specific stock items - and know what the car sells for in advance. I bought the car but it would have been simpler had I not had to deal with Josh. More
