So I just bought a used truck from Team Nissan... Over all the truck is great... I worked with a guy named Chuck who was nice and worked with me on getting the deal done... I also worked with a guy named all the truck is great... I worked with a guy named Chuck who was nice and worked with me on getting the deal done... I also worked with a guy named Don who was his supervisor... Pros: The guys are nice... I had already known what truck I wanted to buy as I had done some research on web sites... Cars.com etc... Cons: Waiting Waiting Waiting More Waiting... I worked out a good deal on a decent truck... I went thru all the hoops getting the price and payments and everything else worked out then when it was sent to Don he could not get any of there banks to approve the deal cause it was a 2001 not a 2002... So I had to pay cash... So I went down to the credit union and took a loan out for the amount of the truck called TEAM NISSAN back and asked them to fax some paper work over I was told that would take 20 mins... An hour later no paper was faxed over... I called back they said it would be faxed over... 20 mins later it was faxed... Truly out of sight out of mind... When I returned with my cashiers check I was asked to wait while they figured out some paper work and helped other people I was told it would take 20 mins another hour later still no help... I could see a few guys talking and B.S. in an office for about 20 mins while chuck helped another customer but no one helped me for over an hour I waited sitting there cash in hand waiting waiting waiting waiting... I was forced to wait while guys talked trash about sports and other trivial stuff instead of being helped close to two hours finally I grabed a guy and got the vin number and some info for my ins... about 2 and a half hours later I was sitting with the finance guy filling out more paper work that took longer than I was told again... All and all I would say they are decent over there but they have no respect for you or your time... I was treated as tho I should be managed and forced to wait to when it was convenient for them to interrupt there busy day to deal with me instead of being treated with respect and prompt service... I was also promised a bow for my new truck that was then laughed about as it was said chuck could not give away a pen much less a bow... So all and all good deal but they need to work on treating there customers like an asset and less of an annoyance they have to put up with in order to make money... Again NO RESPECT... Felt ignored and as tho I was disturbing there day by asking them to sell me a car... Instead of being treated as tho I was an asset as a customer... If you are looking to buy new Go somewhere else... If you have already found the car you want and its on there lot be prepared to wait a lot... Maybe pack a lunch bring a tent a be prepared to camp out... SERIOUSLY... More
When I negotiated a price for my van, the dealer took out his calculator, calculated the pennsylvania tax and agreed that the final price would include the PA tax. Before signing the papers I asked if the t his calculator, calculated the pennsylvania tax and agreed that the final price would include the PA tax. Before signing the papers I asked if the tax would included and was told that it was. When I finally got my title after waiting for two and a half weeks for them to release it, I went to get the van registered in PA. I was then told, that no taxes had been payed, and that there had been no need to get a $200 title from team nissan in NJ. My total fee was $890.52. The auto tags worker told me that the dealership's behavior was "a shame". When I called them, I was spoken to aggressively and hung up on. The salesperson initially said that he remembered agreeing on including the tax, and then changed his story to say he never agreed on it, and then to say that he "thought" it was included. I unfortunately was duped into signing papers where the tax said "N/A" which means that I am now out for the tax money and paying for a new title. These people are crooks. If you go to them, be very careful to read the fine print. More
