Thompson Hyundai Does It Again. Thompson Hyundai is a big operation but it feels personal and friendly - like a "mom and pop" operation. Robert May Took my Impossible Situation and Made it Possible I refinanced and took out a title loan on my car around the same time. About 45 days after refinancing I got into an accident and my car was deemed a I refinanced and took out a title loan on my car around the same time. About 45 days after refinancing I got into an accident and my car was deemed a total loss. Before my insurance company could pay my new loan company the had to have a title with the new loan companies name on it. The new loan company could not put their name on my title because I had a title loan and that had to be paid off first ($1,500). I went to CarMax and even Eastern Motors (due to my credit being in the high 500's) and was approved but they required additional documents or couldn't work with them. My car was being worked on at this locations body shop and when I went to get my personal things Mr. May offered to help me. After 7 hours of going back and forth with their banks he was able to put me in my dream car!!! This place will work with you no matter what your situation is and offer you a great rate (CarMax & Easterns quoted me an APR of 24.99% and Hyundai offered 12%).
