Sold a Jeep to us that was described as retail ready, no issues. Received Jeep with heavy oil leaks from the side of the motor, blown out shocks, and bald tires. This was a internet purchase so I bought it site unseen other than pictures. When I picked it up the sales guy walked me to the vehicle handed me the keys and said have a good day.. I was in a hurry because I had an 12hour drive home. First off the car was dirty it hadn't been washed.I cranked the car and noticed every light that was on the dash was illuminated. check engine and maintenance were the 2 I was most concerned with.and the gas hand was just above the Empty mark As I drove off it felt like I was driving a washing machine it was all over the road and when I pressed the brake it shot straight right so when I get to the gas station I realized that both back tires were really low the pressure in them was 16 & 13 psi (32) is the recommended amount. I don't want to write a novel so I will just list the problems other than the ones I have already listed a/c doesn't work radio doesn't work transmission won't shift correctly only one headlight works turn signals don't work.the back windshield was just hanging down over the tag unoperational. I get it home by some miracle and really take a good look and the entire front end is covered in rust so bad that it had rusted through completely in many places so much that im scared to drive it afraid that the whole front end could just drop out going down the road. For a dealership to be willing to sell a vehicle that is in this condition and put their name on the back as an example of their quality standards is not good business but exactly the kind of dealership that would sell you a car and not wash it and fill it up with gas. Buyer beware before you take a test drive make sure the tires aren't flat and you have enough gas to get back to the dealership. I would avoid buying any vehicle from Tim Short or that will be the end of the stick you'll get. More
