Exceptional Dealership / Service beyond expectations I purchased a 2004 Thunderbird Pacific Coast Roadster (a unique vehicle) in November from Tindol Ford as a gift for my wife via their internet sales S I purchased a 2004 Thunderbird Pacific Coast Roadster (a unique vehicle) in November from Tindol Ford as a gift for my wife via their internet sales SIGHT UNSEEN! We all know that one should never purchase an expensive product especially a car sight unseen, however Phil Charcut-Sales Consultant at Tindol went the extra mile to make sure that the vehicle I purchased would exceed my expectations as the vehicle was carefully inspected in advance and arrived in Newton, MA (more than 900 miles away) more outstanding than its pictures portrayed. I was more than satisfied that I got a great deal from Tindol - I kept the vehicle in my heated garage this past Winter, starting it periodically & driving it around the block once a week until registering the car and putting it on the road late spring (nearly 6 months after purchase). On its first day out, a hot day, I put on the A/C and only warm air blew out. I brought the vehicle to our largest local Ford Dealer (in business 70 years +) and they claimed that the car needed an A/C Evac & new cooling fan module for $1800.00, just for starters, and other parts $$$$!$ @#%@%. A new compressor, also likely needed, would cost an additional $1574.00!! My wife was kind enough not to say anything about her damaged gift or her impulsive husband. I contacted Tom Chester, GM of Tindol Ford, having faith in their dealership but with a severally sunken feeling knowing that I was likely S.O.L. with an As-Is and broken expensive toy on day one! Tom Chester questioned the need for a new coolant fan as diagnosed by my Ford Dealer and saved me $1800 as Tindol Ford actually diagnosed the vehicles' real problem from 900 miles away without the car! The Roadster did not in fact need the cooling fan module my dealer determined was required, but rather a compressor which Tindol Ford agreed to pay for. *****My good fortune was in selecting Tindol Ford as my Dealer in the first place, when risking the purchase of a car sight unseen- There are very few businesses left in the world that would care enough, 6 months later as Tindol does, to spend significant time and money to solve their customer's problems with a reward that only effects their reputation. Great experience at Tindol My husband and I came to Tindol Ford to look at a used Ford truck. It did not suit our needs so Chuck Baumohl encouraged us to look at a new vehicle. He stated the great incentives could help us get into a new vehicle. My husband looked at the trucks on Tindol's lot and found exactly what he wanted! We bought this vehicle and drove it home that night! It was one of the best experiences we ever had with a dealership. We would happily recommend Tindol and Chuck to anyone that is in the market for a vehicle. The price of our new truck and the trade in price of our old truck we felt was fair. After waiting 13 years to buy a truck my husband is very happy and pleased with his new 2014 Ford F 250! Thank You! More

Eddie greeted us as we were browsing the brochures for the different ford products. after discovering that all the new brochures were newly received and still in their boxes, Eddie devoted his full attention to our simple needs. upon finding and supplying us with what we requested he took interest in who we were and our future needs for ford products (wife's fusion and my future F-150). at this point he fully understood our current situation and extended his hopes in satisfying our EVERY NEED. the next day, after further footwork and test drives at competing dealerships, my wife drove us home in her "dream car" 2014 Fusion se in white metallic tri-coat with tan leather, navigation, dual climate control, moon roof, premium 18" wheels etc. which just so happened to be sitting on the showroom floor!!! this deal couldn't have happened without the assistance of Ron Sumption, who took every step possible to work with us in our pursuit of my wife's utter happiness. while Ron maintained his professionalism he did connect with us on a personal level rather than the typical salesman/buyer relationship. hopefully in a few more months Ron and Eddie will have me riding in a new "to me" certified pre owned F-150 super crew 4x4. Eddie and Ron are a true asset to Tindol Ford, Ford Motor Company, and America!!! pretty sure the largest American flag in Gaston county is on their lot. long story short.... you may not go their first, but I doubt you'll need to go anywhere else. It certainly was a pleasure to work with Mike Brown whose product knowledge and personality combined kept me very comfortable from the test drive to the completion of the purchase. Eddie Pittman, the sales manager, further cemented my feelings by being more than willing to listen to and address my concerns. Thanks to these people, along with the ease with which Robbie Cagle handled the billing in the business office, we were happy to buy our first new Ford since 1970. Gave me low ball pricing just to inform me later that they would not honor their given price due to their mistake. The sales managers between hawthorne and tindol are friends so they decidecd to communicate with each other (behind my back) over the dealings I was trying to complete. I have bought many cars from Tindol over the years but I guess there must be a new way of doing business now a days. Its a shame our local ford dealers are playing these games with good dedicated money in pocket customers. Been a ford man all my life and as much as I love fords I guess I will have to look out of local area to find a ford dealer that will treat a cash paying customer with respaect and honesty. I should have learned my lesson a few years ago when my f350 got jacked up in their lot and my set of dually wheels stolen with other damages, that these people do not care about anything but the money. Not only did my insurance company have to pay for the repairs, but tindol got to make the money for the repairs. Tindol wouldn't even pick up my $500 detuctible I had to pay. Lessons well learned I guess. Bottom line, if you get the "real deal" better send it back and ask them for the real "real deal" More
I had been looking to purchase a full size truck, and had been researching all I could for a while. We decided to drop in at Earl Tindol Ford to take look at there inventory. We found a few used trucks that were close to what we wanted, and then saw a great deal on a used Toyota Tundra Double Cab. It was exactly what our family needed, and was in good condition. We had a wonderful down to earth sales employee named Doren Moore. He was very polite and not pushy at all. Most dealership have the sharks lined up to feed once you roll in. He was more informative and wanted to help us in the right direction. We ended up getting a great deal on the truck within our budget, without losing the quality service from Earl Tindol. We had a great experience buying our truck and look forward in the future to purchase again. I would definitely recommend buying a car here. Thanks, Brian H. More
