Dealt with the nicest sales person I have ever met, Steve Smith, when I bought this car. Polite, not pushy, and nice to talk to. On 3-4-2026 I brought my vehicle in for a free oil change. Only had around 1,400 miles on it but it was a year old and talked to the service department and they said it was a good idea. Not going to go into details about everything that happened because it will take to long to type, so contact me if you want more info. The final cost of my free oil change, with other problems they said I had was $580.00 with all the warranties I paid for. They did not explain everything very well and some things they did not tell me about. I'm sure their story will be different than mine, so I will be calling the Hyundai Company directly to see if I can find out what happened. More
I’m very disappointed in their lack of support . I spoke directly to the owner about the tires on my SantaFe. 2018 Sante Fe Sport - took it to the dealer for all services. Despite that I needed a new engine at 85,000 miles! There was very little communication from the service department keeping me informed of services. Despite that I needed a new engine at 85,000 miles! I called multiple times and left messages (why my call to the service department went to voice mail? - screening calls?). Ended up making trips to the dealer weekly - still with little information despite face to face communication. Finally got my car back after two months. I would not buy another Hyundai and certainly not from Torrington Hyundai. Such a shame since up to that point I was moderately satisfied. More
