Kevin was among the diligent and hard-working dealers we've worked with not only on cars but other products. He was generous with his time but respectful of our time. He was extremely responsive and quick. He listened to us, and didn't try to press us into anything. He was persistent but somehow not annoying. He brought the car he thought we would like to our house so that we could see it and take a test drive, and followed up on all our questions. Everybody at this dealership was helpful and friendly - says a lot about its management. Overall, we would highly recommend this dealership and especially Kevin.

My husband and I highly recommend this dealership. As first-time car buyers, we were nervous about encountering an aggressive salesman. Scott never pressured us, he just worked to get us the best deal within our tight budget. Very flexible and friendly place.

Theo was very professional and helpful. We came in and were looking for a Prius and ended up buying a used 2008 that had very low milage. Throughout the whole transaction, Theo was reliable and honest. We would recommend this dealership for sure! Go there with confidence!

My Review of Toyota/Scion of Manhattan:
Kevin Primus was an extremely kind and helpful salesman. Not slick. He never put on any kind of hard sell, though he followed up professionally and made it clear he would go the extra mile to close the deal.

I've owned dozens of cars, but I was reticent to purchase a car in Manhattan, due to the gruff nature of the city I've lived in for 30 years. Kevin and the entire staff changed my mind and made me a big fan. They were all cordial and accommodating.

So, I leased a new Venza from them. It's terrific.

Honest review. On top of it all, they did some custom work on the interior, and it's fantastic.

My Review of Toyota/Scion of Manhattan:
We had been shopping for a used Toyota in several dealerships, including 2 other Toyota dealers in the NYC metro area. We were greeted by Jason de Jesus at Toyota of Manhattan, and he was the best salesmen by far. He was enthusiastic about assisting us, extremely knowledgeable about all cars, he quickly understood what our needs were and accommodated them in a quick and professional manner. He bundled together an attractive sales package of a used 2006 Avalon, and we signed the contract that same day. He took care of us from beginning to end as we were his only customers. Toyota of Manhattan can be extremely proud of having Jason on staff. If anybody asks us where ot buy a Toyota, we will receommend to go straight to Jason. We like our new car, and we loved how Jason took care of us.
Finance manager Ray Laureno was equally a plesure to work with. He got us an attractive financing deal and concinced us to get a certain 7 yr/100,000 mi protection package that exactly fit our circumstances. All along he was super-friendly and we could tell that he loves his job.
We are a family of four, so 8 thumbs up for these two outstanding professionals

My Review of Toyota/Scion of Manhattan:
When I finally broke down and decided to buy a car, I knew that it was going to be from Toyota of Manhattan. On March 28, 2009, I made a decision to purchase my 2009 Toyota Matrix. The moment I entered the dealership, I was greeted by the most enthusiastic salesmen: Kevin, Franklin, and Francios!After a tour of the dealership, I was able to test drive a variety of vehicles, ask as many questions as possible, and negotiate a wonderful price.

Kevin spent 7 hours with my mom and I before we closed the deal. He followed up with me to see how I was doing, and expressed concern regarding my overall satisfaction. Franklin, with years and years of dedicated experience, made it a point to allow for his colleagues to demonstrate their abilities to reach the heart of the customers.Francios, made it a point to assist the discussions regarding affordability. I love my car, and I am so happy that I purchased from this dealership.

For many years, my mother spoke highly of the services she receives at the offices...whether it is for servicing the vehicle or the purchase of one. Thanks to Toyota for making my first car buying experience a memorable one.

My Review of Toyota/Scion of Manhattan:
If it were possible to give this dealership less than a 1 rating, I would. DO NOT repeat DO NOT come here to buy a car. Or to lease one. Or for servicing. FOR ANY REASON AT ALL. The people who work here are a unique combination of arrogance, incompetence and crookedness. We initially leased a car from this dealer for 3 years (bad idea). The salesman who initially "helped" us with our lease provided us with no information on the car we wanted. He also got the colour of the car wrong. 3 years later, we wanted to purchase the car. We called and got absolutely no help or information at all, except for "when do you want to come in?". We did not want to make an appointment to meet with these people and waste an entire day. I demanded to know the paperwork and anything else that might be required. After several phone calls Mr. Howard sent me a credit application form. Frustratingly, he did not understand the difference between a sole proprietor and a corporation. Finally we made an appointment to buy the car. Having told us that we needed nothing but "the car and our driver's license", guess what - we needed a slew of other things which we had to scramble to get. We were so flustered by the whole experience, that when they finally gave us the credit application to sign, we unwittingly agreed to an additional $6500, yes, $6,500 in OPTIONAL warranties and guaranties. AT NO TIME AT ALL WERE WE TOLD THAT THESE WERE OPTIONAL. It was only when I called up to get further clarification on the numbers (which incidentally took 3 phone calls - they are LOATHE to give you any information AT ALL), and my further enquiries that I was told that these were optional. THEY ARE CROOKS. All my communication with these people has not failed to frustrate me completely. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
