We went to check the Venza’s out and test drive one. We really liked the spaciousness, drivability and accessory options in the Venza XLE, but we found out the color white was not available, it was a special order. None of the Venza’s on the lot had the color, interior or accessories my wife wanted, and she was not going to be pressured into buying something she did not want. We also wanted the Costco price. She realized she was going to have to order a Venza to get all her options. I helped her research on the internet. I found the Kelly blue book website where she could put all the options & accessories she wanted on the Toyota Venza and ask for a quote from 3 dealerships. Before she could even print out the information, Kevin Hamlin from Toyota Town of Stockton called us. He was very polite in asking her exactly what options she was looking for in the Toyota Venza she wanted to purchase. He was patient and thorough in listening to her request for the Venza XLE, V-6, FWD, exterior color, interior color & accessories she wanted on the new vehicle. He confirmed all the information and within an hour was calling us back to say he found one. He set up an appointment with us to discuss all the details and price. He actually wanted us to go over what information we found in our research on the Toyota Venza, as we wanted the Costco price. There was no pressure to purchase something we did not want. We negotiated a great price, hassle free. All we had to do was wait for the vehicle to arrive to the dealership. When our Venza arrived at the Stockton Toyota Dealership, Kevin called us to let us know. He had ordered all our accessory parts and gave us updates on when the vehicle would be ready for pick-up. Everybody has been nothing but polite and helpful in Parts And Service Everyone knows dealers are more pricey than your average so called mechanics out there. But ive come to trust this place so much, they are willing to work with me in getting my car maintained even when i have money issues. They would tell me what really needs to be done and what can wait and what not. Ive never had a problem in my car. I know i can trust them in taking care of my car so that it will last longer with great care and maintenance. 2005 and ive got like nearly 200,000 miles on it. And im still coming here.. I dont make much money at all, but im still able to work with the guys here.. I tell em what i need and want for my car and they know why i keep coming back.. More

He called me right away and answered all of my questions without making me feel pressured. I called all of the Toyota dealerships in the area and the Stockton Toyota Town was the cheapest for this car. I was so happy that they had my color in stock and the exact car that I wanted. He did do some research to help me find a white one but I didn't want to pay more for the color so I got silver. 0% financing and no payment for 90 days sealed the deal for me. I planned to wait until October to buy a new car but Adam made it too easy so we went for it. I lOVEEE my new car. More

We usually hate vehicle shopping so this has a fairy tale ending. We knew what we wanted and researched prices online. He found a better vehicle than we had in mind for a better price than we expected and no monkey business. We came in with our own financing, but Jeff in loans found us as good a rate at the closing without the extra fee. We were in and out in two hours. This was the smoothest experience we have had with a new vehicle experience. Kudos to all who made it happen! P.S. A different dealership we had tried had four different people calling us on the phone instead of working with us by email--just what we did not want to happen! They started out saying they couldn't give us what we wanted and trying to talk us into something else. Before coming to the dealer I did my own intial research on the internet of the likely cause of the problem I was experiencing with my Prius. It turns out that it was symptomatic of an inverter pump failur on the internet of the likely cause of the problem I was experiencing with my Prius. It turns out that it was symptomatic of an inverter pump failure on the Prius. Previous years of the Prius had this item recalled and replaced without charge. However, my vehicle is a 2008 which is one year outside of the recall which included 2007 at the latest. I called the Toyota service hotline to get more details, and they confirmed that the recall would not be honored for the 2008 model unless at a later date the number of failures of the inverter pump required them to do so. After calling around to three dealers, Rick at Toyotatown offered to replace it for free anyway, if it was indeed the problem. I brought it in, was provided top notch customer service, and after it was confirmed that it was the inverter pump, was able to leave without paying anything and was even offered a coupon to get the car washed because it was raining on the day of the service. I have never received such service at this level of excellence from any dealer in the past. I believe that they have likely run into the inverter pump problem enough in the past and were preemptively solving the problem rather than put a customer through a delayed recall process. Such an approach is in the customer's best interest and should be to their credit. More
