Since my graduation from Notre Dame and my forty years of buying new cars I have not had such a positive experience as at Braintree Toyota! Having explored the web for best Toyota dealerships, prices, inventory, and service, I was more than pleased with what I found at Braintree Toyota. Ryan Tierny and Brian Mcgrath were outstanding, both in knowledge and servie. But the whole Toyota team made our experience so positive, Sunny and his technical wizadry, Mike Hankes for his assurance of our satisfaction, Bill Detellis for his clear and forthright presentation of after-purchase options. On the Friday I arrived at the bright and open show room, the receptionist greeted me warmly and said someone would soon be available. Within a minutes, "Charlie" walked up and asked if anyone was helping me. Charlie, I discovered, was Charles Tufankjian, the owner! No wonder this dealership is so well run, the owner himself is there! Charlie introduced me to sales agent, Ryan Tierney, who listened carefully to my interest and expectations for a new vehicle. My wife, Mary, have a 2001 Toyotal Camry with over 175K miles and still getting 32 mpg on the highway and never needing major service. But we needed a vehicle with heated seats and a smooth, comfortable ride. We prefered the best mpg, a "green" car, and preferably "American made" in this global world. In additon to the Prius, we expected to look at the Ford Fusion, and Lexus 200, besides the Toyota Camry Hybrid. Ryan showed me, on my first visit, his stock of Priuses and Camry Hybrids in a top floor auto store room that was massive and most impressive. When I called the following Monday for appointment to test drive the Prius and Camry Hyprid, Ryan was out for the day but Brian Mcgrath was there, more ready to join us in a drive in and around Braintree. My wife, Mary, was most comfortable with him and appreciative of his knowledge and sensitivity to our concerns for the best vehicle for us, Toyota or otherwise. We felt no pressure to buy. Within the week we purchased a a silver Prius 4 that -- most important us -- Braintree Toyota had available. Ryan Tierney and Brian Mcgrath especially made it possible. They are outstanding: the best, as is the whole team and dealership. Ryan and Brian merit extra Dunkin Doughnuts this week! They truly are the best! More

This was my third toyota purchase but first time with Tufankjian. I was truly impressed with the friendly, courteous family atmosphere. Wallace Langame gave complete and thorough answers to our questions regarding financing. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Carlos Ortega couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Consistently thanking us for our business each time he saw my husband and I. Mike Hankes was just as friendly and courteous after we purchased the vehicle as he was prior to the purchase. The team made us feel like we just bought into a family. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this team when purchasing a vehicle. More
I went to the dealership looking for a 4 runner. I met with victor who took me to the third floor of their indoor garge to take a test drive. I did not have the experience with this dealership that others have had, and it all came down to timing. It all started out well and good. I spoke with Eric over the phone and he answered all my questions others have had, and it all came down to timing. It all started out well and good. I spoke with Eric over the phone and he answered all my questions and we came up with a good price. But the day I went to the dealership, I had an appt. for a test drive only, and that is all I had left time for. It was after work and I needed to get home to the family. I took the test drive(s) and then had planned to go home but Manny kept asking me questions. I didn't want to be rude so I answered them. But then I started saying how I was tired and really just wanted to go home. And then came another question. I absolutely should have just walked out, but one time I literally couldn't because they had my car keys. I was there until 8:30 and I told everyone how tired I was and how I didn't feel I could make a rationale decision and how I wanted to go home; I wasn't ready to buy. I know these guys are salesmen, but I'd hope they would have some sensitivity and respect for others' time. I did believe the deal was a good one, and ultimately I bought the car that night, but not without feeling mugged and exhausted (both of which I told them). Then upon picking it up, I was told it might take an hour. Two and a half hours later (!!) I was finally leaving with my car, and in all that time, they hadn't even gotten me an inspection sticker. So, I had to return the following Monday. (This dealership is not all that convenient to my house or work.) Everyone was definitely friendly, but they were just not respectful of my time, and this appeared again when I returned a week after purchase to get a small issue corrected. I was told it would take an hour (so was planning on wait on the way to work), then was told it could take all day (What time will you be back for the car? I am WAITING for the car because you said it would take an hour! I need to get to work!) and THEN maybe that it wouldn't even be done that day...could I come back tomorrow? Beyond the lack of respect for my time, the only other thing that I felt was actually a bit unethical was that, after this experience, I felt extremely pressured to give all "excellents" on the upcoming survey. It was repeated to me over and over how much they wanted all excellents. Of course they did, but I did NOT have an excellent experience, and finally I felt incredibly uncomfortable even discussing it with the person being reviewed. I felt harassed. By the way, I have since had a better experience working with Gail Nelson, who is very sensitive to my concerns, and I actually very much like their repair department, but I , personally, would still think twice about buying another car here. Hopefully I am just one in a million, as it seems most others have had wonderful experiences. More
