My father and I went to Toyota of Dallas to purchase my first vehicle. When we got there we were greeted right away and a salesman was able to help us promptly. Overall, they had a great selection. I didn't know what kind of car I wanted and what would be best for a first car. My salesman, Nicholas Madl, was very knowledgeable and explained what was best for what I was looking for. He was able to answer every question! He was super friendly and easy to talk to. I'm still building my credit but he was able to work with the managers to get me a great deal. I ended up taking home a corolla s and am highly satisfied. I'll always stay with a Toyota because of how reliable they are. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone! More

Toyota of Dallas has the best inventory, my salesman was Murat and he did an excellent job, he really listened to my needs and got me a Camry for the price I wanted. These two along with the rest of thier team made my purchasing experience one to be wowed by. I got to the dealership and was greeted by my smiling sales associate (Cody Freeman). who instead of like a normal dealership walking me around on the lot for an hour, took me inside and asked me my wants and needs. I was trading in my car and in order to save me time he was going to get my car apraised while we looked for a vehicle. The used car Director(Tino ) came over to us took my keys and assured me that my car was one they would love to have, and that he would give me top dollar for it. After he took what i said into consideration he took me to the vehicle he thought would suit me best(Tundra Platinum). It wasn't the excact color I wanted but after I drove it I realized that color was the last thing I cared about. I just wanted to be treated fair. After I drove it with brief negotiations( these guys made it very easy). I was ready for Finance. Not only did my finance professional AJ treat me very well but he was considerate of my time as well. The Finance Director Dustin , came in and congratulated me as well as made sure AJ went over the best financial package for me. All in All this is the best experience that I have evwr had at any Dealership. If this is the start of how the new management is going to do things. TOD should be the place you go to get your new car!!!! More

Friendliness (5): Jared was great to test drive the car with! And asked if I had any questions before going onto the next topic about the car. Overall Experiance (3): The score of 3 goes to the people that I didn't see that had to approve me. My car deal was jumping from one person to the other and we had a different answer every time. But I give a (5) to Raul and A.J. For working really hard to get the deal done and price I wanted (at least close to it haha) Price (4): I wanted the car for a certain price (monthy payment) but I agreed to pay a little more because I wanted to car and these guys worked so hard to help me out. And it will help me on my car credit. This is the first car I was buying in MY name. There were a few bumps in the road (credit approval) but all the guys I worked really hard to get me the car I picked (2013 Scion TC) I love the car and appreciated them keeping up with me for a week until the contract was final. NO WAY you should work with these guys!!! So old school they should have been a movie. I tried buying a Highlander from them. In the middle of the conversation the dealer asked for a credit card to prove that I am serious I gave it to him (me a dope!!) he took it and then went into hard sell mode. When I wanted to leave his manager had the credit card and was holding it until we can come up with a deal. I demanded the card and after some prodding they returned it!! More

Having had a good experience with the parts guys I returned last weekend to buy a used car. IT WAS NOTHING BUT AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. The same crap that had me turn my car around and leave the parking lot without even having a chance to get out of my car at Trophy Nissan. (Sales guys attacked after I rolled down my window.) Here's the run down at TOD: 1. Salesman made us wait and talk tons of #'s before even showing us the 2 cars I wanted to see. 45 mins wasted! The only number I cared about was the sales price, and I laid that out pretty firmly. Also he pushed and pushed to know what I was currently driving. I said it didn't matter I wasn't trading in; he took offence and still pushed for my current car information. After leaving the table 3 different times and asking me about my "parameters" several times he said he was having trouble finding the keys and had us wait for ages. At every opportunity he wanted us to SIT instead of stand and kept pushing us to SIT DOWN. We made it clear by standing near the exit that these shenanigans had proven unsatisfactory only to realize we couldn't leave see point #2. 2. The salesman took my DL and didn't return it! When I asked for it very directly he walked away and headed towards the sales lot. Standard sleezy control tractics to make you follow them! I stopped in my tracks and made him walk back to me; I demanded my license this time and he pulled it from his inside coat pocket and said "this license?" Holding it between his fingers and keeping it protected with his palm, He reluctantly gave it back. 3. They didn't even have the 2 cars I had seen on their website that morning, said the sold them. Can you say bait and switch? All this run around and they didn't have the cars they advertised! I can't say I didn't see it coming. 4. He insisted we drive another car he had on the lot after we said we had driven several of that model already. At this point we said thanks but no thanks and left. Within hours we bought a Jetta TDi from Boardwalk VW and it was a terrific experience. For all the training our sales person clearly received and adhered to for being a hard sell sales person he made a couple of mistakes. A. He didn't give us his card/information/etc. B. He didn't read me very well and adjust his tactics. C. He didn't even get close to getting us into the cars we said we wanted to see. D. so far he hasn't followed up. Epic fail for Toyota of Dallas! Especially considering I'm loyal to the Toyota brand this could have gone much differently. I don't blame the sales guy either. He seemed like he could be an alright guy. Just a little green when it comes to his place of employment. It was clear his actions were what was dictated by the managers (pit bosses) running the show from their office. This is clearly the way they want their sales people to sell cars and maybe they get sales that way, just not from me. I'm surprised that when it was all falling apart he didn't get help from one of the more experienced guys to keep us from leaving, another common practice for one of these kinds of places. More
