After about 2 weeks of looking I made the decision to buy from Sou because he was persistent, respectful and not pushy. Josh was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process of getting me the right car at a fair price. After a slight mishap, he and several members of the Gladstone Toyota team made sure to make things right. Josh's humor and overall easy-going nature made the experience more enjoyable than I would have expected; I'm glad I came to Gladstone Toyota and will definitely recommend them to other family and friends. Highly Recommended I had never bought a car from a dealership before because of past experiences with shady salesman and just the negative energy of most dealers, so I w I had never bought a car from a dealership before because of past experiences with shady salesman and just the negative energy of most dealers, so I was hesitant to say the least. Carl Schnaufer was very professional and courteous and answered all the questions I had. I also dealt with some of the managers during our negotiating, and never felt like I was getting hustled or the wool being pulled over my eyes. We came to the terms I was happy with and I was on my way with my new Tacoma. On my way home I realized I forgot my garage door opener in my trade in, so I called Carl and he put it in the mail for me the same day. Carl seems like he really cares you get the car you want and have a good experience, not prioritized by the sale. When its time for a new truck, I'll be coming back to Gladstone Toyota. More
There are some nice people, but not all are When I was buying my car, the dealer Glenn Howard was respectful and was almost reading our minds when we were concerned about items that were not mee When I was buying my car, the dealer Glenn Howard was respectful and was almost reading our minds when we were concerned about items that were not meeting the expectations. Jarett in the financial department was very friendly as well. However, I can not say the same thing for the other employees. Seth was helpful during the buying the process, but after the purchase I found a few details that were not very pleasant. For example, we asked about the rebate value when we ere buying the car multiple times, the sales associate told us the loan value of the car is the same exact value with the cash rebate. When I get to the store to get my chip installment, I learned that there was actually a rebate offer which we were never offered. Seth and the sales manager Joe initially denied it. Later, tried to convince me that the deal I got the is better (acknowledging the existing rebate amount), but then tried to charge me for the small gifts/packages the car was coming with and substracted them from the rebate amount with the non-straight math; and told me that they will write me a check and I can pick it up when I come back the next day when I come to pick my car up. When I get there, it was only Joe the sales manager, his attitude was extremely rude and he told me to be an adult about the deal and that I cannot complain after signing a document. Later he gave me his manager's number which was the dealership's number. The entire experience with Joe was very unpleasant. I called his manager the next day, explained him everything that happened; he listened the problem and the problem is settled. However, I am still missing some of my documents, such as the Etch document, and they were mailing to me 2 weeks ago after the phone call with the manager; but I still did not receive the documents. More

We live about 5 hours south and had been looking at Toyota Highlanders for a couple of months. I e-mailed Kermit about a Highlander that they had on their lot and within a few days the deal was made and we were packing up the kids, heading to pick up our new car! When we arrived we were met by friendly salesmen who directed us to Kermit and Carl who were both very kind and helped us get settled in for what is usually a long process of signing papers. Carl went above and beyond to make sure our kids were comfortable while we completed the deal. He even brought all of the paperwork to us in the kids play room so we could sit with our children while he finished his side of the process. Carl also brought all of the manuals and went through them with us before we left! The only downside was how pushy the finance employee was, but it was the end of the day and we were all tired too. I would definitely recommend Kermit and Carl at Toyota of Gladstone to anybody who wants to purchase a new Toyota! -Steve and Jennifer More
