The main reason I am giving this rating is because of my salesman Greg Alexander. I was treated better by the salesmen on the floor that weren't even involved with my new car purchase. (Some guy whose name I don't know ran and got me a bottled water after I had been there for four long hours....my salesman NEVER once offered to get me anything). Greg Alexander was rude, brash, and completely uninterested in customer service. Was only interested in making the deal and getting paid. I filled out an online request, filled out an online finance application, had a couple of conversations with Greg Alexander and explicitly explained to him that I didn't want to be at the dealership all day. I explained that I wanted a Camry, told him my price budget, told him all about my trade (a Corolla purchased there in 2010) and gave him all the information he needed to have a deal ready when I arrived for my appointment with him. I arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday and FIVE HOURS later he made the ultimate mistake when he tried to let me drive off the lot with a "brand new" Camry that had 200 miles on it, was a "dealer trade" from somewhere else, and clearly had an engine defect. He first claimed he never heard it, but he personally drove it off the lot to get it gassed up. How he didn't hear the engine knocking is beyond me. Then when we pointed out to Greg Alexander that the car didn't sound right and that the engine was knocking, he had the audacity to suggest that "that's how four cylinder cars sound." When we called the customer service manager out there (Richard Ray) he clearly thought something was wrong with the car and immediately told Greg Alexander to find me another Camry!!!!! To me, that was just the ultimate "I don't give a crap about my customers, I'm just here to make whatever deal I can." Thank you Richard Ray for making it right, thank you Alex (Salesman) for trying your best to help but Greg Alexander refused any help whatsoever when it was clear he was completely overwhelmed, and thank you to Jeff in the finance office for working out the deal. It was time for a new vehicle and my wife and I decided to go to Raybrant Toyota and test drive a new Sienna. We were acknoleged by Victor Duran and we told him what we were looking for. The process was nice, the price was not bad and the best thing, it did not take me all day. This is the fifth new vehicle we purchase and this was a new experience. My trade in was given a good price and you know Victor wanted our business and he show it by being proffesional. I called it a fun purchase, and best of all we have a new Sienna at my house. During the process of finding the new van a nice fellow named Fredd Mena helped out and was very helpful. To us a good deal on a vehicle is the whole experience until we drive it home. We contacted this dealership about a vehicle my wife absolutely wanted. She wanted no other vehicle. We called the manager of the internet sales team and discussed the options and to get assurance that absolutely wanted. She wanted no other vehicle. He agreed that he would not sell it and would hold it for us. I even offered to place $10,000.00 down to hold it. He said that was not necessary. I took him on his word and I received a call on Tuesday morning stating that they had sold the exact car we wanted. That ruined our day and will never do business with this dealership or anyone in the state of Louisiana. I don't trust anyone in that dealership. STAY AWAY More

This is my first visit to Ray Brandt since I moved back to New Orleans from Lakeland Florida.I brought my 2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder in for an egnition coil change out and tune up. I have never seen a drop of oil on my driveway but took then at their word. Had all these things done and preventative maintance since I have really had no problems with the car since I purchased it brand new off the showroom floor from Lakeland Toyota(Florida)which is an excellent dealership and had the best service ever they even had courtesy vehicles for repairs over a certain cost. I paid for the repairs $1800 worth they brought me the car I got in it and proceeded to drive off. Immediately I noticed the AC light blinking and no cold air. You can image the words I said "xxx". I turned right back around and brought it back because when I brought it in there wasn't anything wrong with the AC whatsoever. I'm now furious because I let my ride go and here it is 7PM no courtesy van or courtesy car that I can use to get home, so now stranded and they could have seemed less concerned or even apologetic about this incident. I have always had a toyota dealership work on my car and no one else trusting that their mechanics are knowlegable and certified to work on toyota's.I have never ever received my car back after being "repaired" with something else wrong that wasn't broken when I brought it in. Now I have to question that these $1800 worth of repairs and maintenance have been done correctly. Now this is a total inconvience of my time and peace of mind. Update to follow as to the outcome of this fiasco since now I have paid $1800 and still have no car. More

When we got to Ray Brandt Toyota,everyone we met in the dealership, was with either a handshake or a hello and a smile. Everything went quick and smoothly, the honored the price that was quoted to me, also they gave me top dollar on my trade without question. From the car being presented to me in top condition,to the test drive,and of course taking care of the paper work we were in and out, and on our way in less than two hours. Professional sounding, and trusting, finance closer suggested and sold me what my wife and I thought was the Toyota 100K extended warranty, discounted because I was a VIP customer due to my 852 Beacon score, what a crock. Today I got a letter from some auto warranty company in Baton Rouge saying they had the warranty and had to change my customer number due to a mistake in the office, great. I paid Toyota price of $1,795.00 for this aftermarket, no name, no website, no brochure "insurance" underwriter, somehow I feel a little sore for this beating. I paid full sticker for the car, full sticker for the warranty, and full sticker for the poor integrity expressed by the representatives of Ray Brandt Toyota. By the way, I've bought two other vehicles from Ray Brandt in the past and never experienced this type of what appears to be "under handed" shananigans, and they weren't Toyota's, they were Nissans. My wife and I and heart sick over this, it was to be a wonderful experience in spite of the price and this was my retirement vehicle to me and is to be probably my last one. Two visits to this dealership. On both visits, the salesmen never pointed out features. They just open the vehicle and let us look around.
