Reviewing service only. About 2 1/2 years ago had my vehicle in for routine service, they told me I needed a battery, although it started perfectly. The price quoted was high, so I purchased one elsewhe vehicle in for routine service, they told me I needed a battery, although it started perfectly. The price quoted was high, so I purchased one elsewhere for much less. Taking it into the local mechanic for installation, they checked the battery, said it was fine. It ran for two years on the existing battery with no issues. In July of this year, after sitting for 7 months due to Coronavirus restrictions, the battery would not hold a charge, so I replaced it with a fresh new one (the one I purchased and didn’t use now too old). Four months later, again I was told the battery failed a “test” and needed to be replaced for $125, and I needed brake work for $600, the brakes failed safety inspection. Now, not trusting Tri State, I took it to a local mechanic. Again they said the battery was fine (which at 4 months old I would expect). They did the brake work for $140. The last time I go to Tri State. I feel like this is a scam, the second time I didn’t fall for it. Every staff member is pleasant, it was convenient, but if you lose trust like I have, better just move on. Had to pay for a second safety inspection, but saved me another visit there. More

I only bought the vehicle new to This is for sales and service. I purchased my 2008 Exterra NEW from them with a lifetime tires and Gold membership. I only bought the vehicle new to transport my father to the doctors. Needless to say, I didnt drive it much for the first several years. I took the vehicle in because of a puddle on my garage floor after a recent oil change at their facility. They found no leak so I took it to a friend for a second opinion. He walked me through what had happened. The rear end fluid had leaked out. The leak was more than obvious. Did they even look? the paper said they did. I recently went in for an oil change and asked for a 'tire rotation and balance'. (it could void the warranty) They told me it would be over $120.00 for the oil change because they have not been charging me for the $80 additive. WHAT? The additive costs $10 at your local automotive store. The also returned the vehicle to me without balancing. I drove over 1200 miles wonder xxx. I took it back and they said they would fix it for $48 for a tire rotation and balance. Whats really superb is that the 'courtesy inspection' indicated I needed a interior micro air filter. That's funny. I just replaced it last week. I really don't think they look at anything. If the car is under warranty and they cant make money, they will not prey on you. Funny thing. They said my Gold membership ended at 60 months. I didn't see that in my contract as well as the Tires for Life. Maybe the Virginia Attorney General can weigh in on this? I wonder what the engine carbon removal service is anyway? Needless to say I like my new FORD More

Well needless to say they come back to tell me that i need a transmission. So this is my concern with that, I brought the car in March of 2014 with only 24,000 and in June of 2014 I had to replace the transmission for the first time and here we are in 2017 and I now have to replace another one after less than 35,000 miles and I was told that the first transmission they put in for me was new. Thank God I had the warranty to cover this. I mean 2 transmission having to go in the same car since 2014 just don't seem right to me . There customer service there is terrible. After I was told that I needed a transmission they tell me they are going to give me a loaner car which is great ,but when you get a loaner car you are to sign off on that and told you need to bring the car back clean and full tank of gas .This car they tried to loan out to me was a Altima and it was filty dirty inside and outside . I was pissed and I went back in there and I had them come and and look at the car that they try to give me. They had a guy name Nick come out and told him to take the car and wash it and clean it up for me. Nick went to take the car to do just as he was told and he came out to tell them that there was no way they was going to put me in that car and that they needed to put me in another car and they try to do that and again Nick came to my rescue and went above and beyond and told them he was not going to let me drive off in that car as well. Nick went and got me a 2017 Rogue to drive until my transmission get fixed. I just want to say Nick went above and beyond to make me a happy customer before I left. The rest of the employee at the service desk never even try to make it right. I had already been there for over 2 1/2 when they told me it would only take about 30 mins. This is not the first time I had to deal with Nissan and how badly there customer service is. They need better training and better employee who do care about making there customers happy. More

As always checked for any bonus points or credits i had on my account and applied them appropriately. HECK HE EVEN CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY B8KE TRAILS NEAR BY SO I COULD GO FOR A BIKE RIDE QHILE WAITING FOR MY CAR TO BE SERVICED! That is beyond the normal or expected level of service. Thanks again craig! Truly a rock star in service and hospitality. Also the techs and detail folks did a amazing job. Car looks and runs great thanks to those that never get named. You are also appreciated! Joe More

Had my car in twice in 2 weeks because a noise had not gone away. Both times I was given a rental car ( on my warranty plan) however 2nd time in noise was diagnosed and fixed. The service advisor was courteous, personable and called me to let me know of the status of my Rogue. More
Tri State Nissan's service center is a JOKE!! I took my truck in to have it looked at and they charged me $104 to hook it to their computer. Then they told me I needed a new $5000 transmission! I took my truck in to have it looked at and they charged me $104 to hook it to their computer. Then they told me I needed a new $5000 transmission! I'm no idiot, so I got a second opinion at Interstate Transmission and it turns out I just needed a new valve body! The code clearly shows it was a 'clutch solenoid circuit short'! What a JOKE, Tri State! God only knows how many people you guys have cheated out of money! And when I went to pick it up thay gave me a "list of things you should have us fix for you" the total was $7500! I felt like they just wanted me to look at the list and just walk next door to the showroom and trade it in on a new one! What a JOKE, Tri State! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND NEVER SEND ANYONE THERE AGAIN! Shame on you, Tri State...Shame on you! More
