I called the dealership on a friday evening not sure if mazda was really what I wanted. I spoke to Jeff and asked what type of specials Mazda had going on the 3 series. I ended up going in that night and test drove a thee hatch back. Car was great now came the issue of my trade in. The used car manager looked at my old jeep and gave me some fair numbers. I told Jeff I would needed a night to think about. I have to say it is nice to work with a salesmen who sees value in not pushing a customer to make a large purchase right away. I returned the next night and purchased the 3hatchback. The whole experience took about two hours everyone involved was friendly and polite. It has been a few months since I have bought my car but I must say that the experience I had at Tustin Mazda has been a positive one and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Mazda just walk in and ask for Jeff. First and foremost, the BEST DEALER IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! Here was my situation: I went to numerous dealerships that kept declining me, not because i had bad credit, but because i had 1 vehi CALIFORNIA! Here was my situation: I went to numerous dealerships that kept declining me, not because i had bad credit, but because i had 1 vehicle already in my name with my father as a co-signer and informed all dealerships that he was going to be taking over the payments. I didn't want to be taken off of the lease because i didn't want to go through the hassle and wanted to do my best to help my dad out. Well, when i thought all hope was loss, Tustin called me and said they would like to try to help me out. I thought i'd give them a shot and the service when i walked in was exceptional! Everybody there treated me as if i were a family member! I wasn't there very long and they said i could take the car home that day and wait for an answer to see if the banks approve. Jim(sales associate) called me this morning and said i got APPROVED! I was so happy and could not ask for another dealership to work with! Jim, Eric and Heidi all have great personalities and are willing to do all they can to help anyone out! It didn't really feel like i was at a dealership to be honest. I requested an internet quote from Tustin Mazda, and got an immediate response with an invitation to visit the dealership. There was just enough communication - I wasn't getting emails from several differen an immediate response with an invitation to visit the dealership. There was just enough communication - I wasn't getting emails from several different people (which happened at other dealerships), and I was ignored. We quickly arranged a time for me to test drive a car and when I got there Jimmy was ready for me, with the vehicle, a Mazda5 6-speed in the color that I requested, waiting for me to test drive. Jimmy walked me through the entire car before we got in: features, benefits, how to make adjustments - he was very well informed about the car. Test drive was great, there was no rush and he offered for me to keep driving as long as I needed to decide. This was my second test of this car, and I was sold once I got my hands on the manual version. We quickly worked out a price (no long waiting around, no big sales pressure), got my financing in order, trade price worked out (I was offered $500 more than the two other dealerships I took the car to) and I was headed into financing! The financing woman was great (Laura?), I signed my papers, and by that time my car was clean and ready to pack up and drive home! I have a local Mazda dealership, but I was willing to drive an hour because the service at Tustin from the first email was superior to any other dealership I had communicated with. I feel like I've joined the Tustin Mazda family - I can't wait to drive down one Saturday afternoon with my family for the weekly BBQ and to have my car washed! More

Don was very helpful, and was not "pushy" at all. He listened to our needs and made it very comfortable for us to trust him. Many times, I have gone to a dealership, where they judge you by your all. Many times, I have gone to a dealership, where they judge you by your looks, whether I had money and if I was going to qualify for a loan because of my age. But Don did not judge me nor did he ever mention about payment or loan until we looked at cars together to find the right fit and test drove it. If he ever came upon a question that he did not know, he went out of his way to find out for us. He let us know what he was doing everytime so we were on the same page. He was energetic and I could see he was enjoying having fun finding the right car for me too. I kept telling me that it was ok to spend the time and look at other cars, other models because this was going to be my car, so he would just sit back and wait while I looked until I had a question, instead of getting all close and trying the "sale" the greatness of the cars. Overall: couldnt have asked for a better dealer to work with. Thank you Don. More
